Welcome back Symphony!
Symphony Posted Sep 4, 2003
OMG...
*utterly dazed*
Thank you. Thank you sooo much
*dissolves in floods of tears*
Carla, for all of Symphony
Welcome back Symphony!
SEF Posted Sep 4, 2003
Have another then. I'm sorry I don't even know you. I never got round to saying hello before you were banned. It did seem obvious that you were being treated very unfairly though. So I bimbled into the fray - not that my support is necessarily regarded as a good thing round here...
Welcome back Symphony!

Thanks Ferrettbadger
We're so stunned, we don't really know what to say! We're kinda looking forward to getting to know people ourselves now, and being able to reply!
As for being a minor hootoo celeb...

(we really need a yay smiley)
::and there was much rejoicing. [Distant Crowd] "YAY!!!"
I think I just started a "Welcome Back, Meet and Greet" party on Barton's porch.

You realisze that you're as famous as nighthoover, probably Though much better--you're actually here
Welcome back Symphony!
SEF Posted Sep 4, 2003
I wasn't sure our dissatisfaction with events was making any noticeable impact on the wider community at all. It was hard to tell how many people were lurking without commenting whereas a lot of people have posted to the nighthoover thread.

And for some reason (don't understand it myself, because I'm not exactly the most interesting person in the world) I've a lot of folks subscribed to my journal, and they certainly heard about the situation!

Don't underestimate what you've done, Amy.

Cheers, Symphony I was afraid you'd never get to come back... What's worse is that this happened in the first place. Good to have you back!
Welcome back Symphony!
SEF Posted Sep 5, 2003
Yes, that's worse. It's also the thing which people haven't appreciated me pointing out. Unfortunately, there's still no reason to believe the staff have learned anything such that it won't happen again.
Welcome back Symphony!

I think perhaps that SEF is correct we now need to pressure the italics to give an explanation and tell us how a similar situation can be avoided in the future.

Welcome back, Symphony - all of you! We didn't meet formally before this "incident", but I thought they way you were treated was a darn shame, and I'm really glad you're back at last!
Welcome back Symphony!

*lets people know that she is one of the probable many that were keeping an eye out*
I'm sure there were a lot of people around that, like me, didn't feel they knew enough to post.
I may not have know you, Symphony, all of you, but I hope to see you around the site. Glad not to lose a comminuty member.
Welcome back Symphony!
Symphony Posted Sep 9, 2003
Thanks for the welcomes everyone! It's good to know that there are people who care
We'll get round to meeting you all, we hope!

Is this progress, a return to previous procedure or merely an indication that people using offensive language are treated better than those who are innocent of any crime?
