Hmm I never write anything on hootoo that really matters so I don't care who has me on their friends list.Its a good way to be notified of new convo's as well. but I think I will go and check that everyone is happy on my list all the same.

i love thread jacking but I am aware that some people are not as shallow fickle and inconsequential as me.I come here to and talk nonsense.my real life is really over responsible and I need to unwind. This is an aspect o fH2G2 netiquette I never considered, I just thought it was an easy way to get involved in conversations.

I don't see the point of having a friends list. You should know who you speak to, shouldn't you? Or is there some other point to having a friends list?

You get their journals and an easy link to their page and everything instead of having to search for them.

It's easier to get to know a person better, to find out his/her interests and opinions.

Can't you use the favourites menu on your browser for that?

I'm not on my own computer, so I can't store things in the favourites.
