The Politics of Mild Insanity

Hello everyone. My name is Abby, but you may call me nearly anything - I will answer to it, as long as it's not my combined unfortunate initials. Take a close look at my nickname, as it is now, AR Fuller. ARF.
Parents do not need a sense of humor, no matter how much you may think otherwise as an adolescent.

You might notice my rather long nickname. Seems rather normal 'round here, but anyway:

I have a spork! A titanium spork! As my name says, I am a Thingite, strongly supporting the campaign to change the days of the week, especially Thurs... well, you know.

I am a rather new researcher. Although I'm not as likely to need help, as I've stopped panicking, I would still welcome it as a security thing, much like a blanket.

I live in Atlanta, Georgia, United States of America... on the North American Continent of the planet Earth if you weren't sure. Atlanta is the home of good greasy food, distorted ebonics, Hanoi Jane¹ and a very high crime rate.
I am also apparently female, if you go by the normal standards, which I don't. My age? 21, legal in most aspects of the word, something I like to call the Half.

I do have a formula now:
{ [ ( 2 * 1 ) - 1 ] + 5 } * { 9 - 2 } = 42
My mathematical skills equal those of a newly hatched penguin, so I have Six7s to thank. I have promised to be a virtual slave to whomever came up with that first, and will be one even if unwanted.

I type a lot. A lot a lot. One tends to do this when employed in a data entry position. It hardly helps that I'm addicted to the internet and thus have friends overseas I type at furiously for hours on end daily.

I enjoy, but am picky about, Science Fiction. Arthur C. Clarke is a favorite, as well as Star Trek's The Next Generation and Voyager, Red Dwarf and of course the Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy. These might fit loosely into the Sci-Fi category, but as I said - I am picky.
I am also something I believed is termed "insane." Not clinically, or at least if I am I'm socially acceptable. My friends have names for specific aspects of my personality, "Mother," "Fifi" and "In-Law" are just a few.

Many of my friends may mistakenly believe I am an Anglophile. However, because I enjoy obscure (in America) television programs, know how to correctly spell certain words (Theatre versus "Theater." However, I do ignore other spellings, since they're silly) and inexplicably make my life harder by choosing friends in the UK, this does not mean I am an Anglophile. I am merely "cultured."
I have been informed of a gross spelling error on my part, pointed out to me by Thingite Clive the Flying Ostrich (Warlord). "Cultured," it seems, will also be changed to "Kul-choored." Hence, I will be using this instead of any formerly accepted variations.

I've also been called a Francophile, because I speak a small amount of French. This is so incredibly far from the truth, but I'll let you decide that for yourself. After all, life needs its mysteries.
