Flapjacks are different here than there (another one for the UK/US dictionary?) but I know what you mean because I've a cookbook for college students that was published in the UK (and that's the only reason I know flapjacks are different...) I love that cookbook! But when they tried fixing the stove before they got us the new oven (they being the placee that owns the apartment) it got rather burnt at the binding... But yeah, I'll look at that recipe again Just a matter of stopping procrastinating... Which, since a coworker brought in a whole huge thing of cashews and of cereal bars, can be put off at least to the weekend

Oh, you could be supprized. Though I don't know.

Here, a flapjack is just another name for a pancake. Which is also different here--thick and fluffly instead of thin and roll-up-able

Mmm, Haven't had a stew in yonks... I'm not even sure how to make stew and I'm not even sure If I've got teh appropiate tools with which to do so

Hmm, it will have to wait till my next shop, well teh one afte rhte next one I do, as I'm already getting some particular ingrediants this week to cook something slightly different (for me) to normal

Have you got a slow-cook? All you need is some stewing stake, carrots, leeks, parsnips, swede, peas and potatos...
You lnow i've never actually tried to explain how to cook something before...

Stew? 2legs, just go through the fridge, find some leftover gravy and meat, then toss in any leftover vegetables you might have, and you'll have stew.

Oh - you might want to make sure all of these leftovers are still safe to eat. You know, nothing furry

Stew's easy--chop up everything, throw in barley, cook...

I make *good* stew

Have to make some more again soon, before it gets too warm to eat hot soup...
