Mommy had another appointment yesterday. Depending on how you want to count, it was either her 3rd (counting the group class thing) her 2nd, or her first with the actual smiley - doctor (The last one was with a smiley - nurse--the appointments will alternate between smiley - doctor and smiley - nurse) Not really much to tell... Mommy's back to pre-pregnancy weight, and I think everyone should remind her to get snacks she can keep at work, so that she gains enough weight. And Mommy got to hear my heartbeat! She got that same sappy grin on her face as when she had the ultrasound *rolls eyes*

Mommy's 16 weeks pregnant, which means I've been in here for 14 weeks. If anyone looks at a website to see where I am in my development, then use the 16 week figure...

Mommy's next appointment is on March7, and Daddy's going to be there too--that one is the 'official' ultrasound! So Daddy will get to see me, and also see what the sappy grin looks like, as Mommy seems unable to reproduce it... And then a few hours later is a regular appointment, which was clever of Mommy to schedule for then, so she doesn't have to miss more work than she has to...

That's about it, really, 'cept I'd like to remind Mommy to put *something* about me on her space--she's got Daddy linked there, and her wolf...

Of course smiley - cake is healthy!

Look at what's in them: flour, eggs, milk - sounds like good stuff to me! And in a form that's highly palatable, too! So you'll be sure to eat lots of them!

Pizza is good for you too - and will help you gain weight (I'm an expert at this, can you tell? smiley - puff) I don't go for the fatty meaty varieties, but any of the veggie topped ones are great, and feel free to order it with extra cheese - You need the calcium!

And of course the sugar in the smiley - cake and the fat in both... And the cost of pizza. (Yes, I'm aware that granola has lots of fat too, but at least it's got whole grains, and I've a fairly low-fat yummy looking recipe...)

Believe me, a little extra fat won't hurt you at this stage... you've taken 16 weeks just to return to your pre-pregnancy weight, and although they'd definitely harass you if you gained 15 lbs a month from here on out, you certainly *should* have gained about 8 lbs by this point.

Past time, but there's nothing here at work I can nibble on right now... (No cold lunch meat--listeria. No cured meats--nitrates. No soft cheeses, unless they're pastuerized--listeria...) so I need to get to the store and get stuff to bring here, and remember to actually bring it in...
