i always find it weird,that poets quote one of the lines i have in my introduction to myself.April is the cruelest month.well it was to everyone who was born in April,what with the showers,and the inference spring was about to twitter in the budding bushes,then you have Mole and Ratty messing about in boats,it is all too much.I wish i was born in November,fireworks.etc as it is,i must exept the fact that i was born in April,along with Adolf Hitler,now there is a nice team up, me a nice jewish girl and Adolph amost sharing the same birthday,what a bummer,

Thanks, Jab. I love Arthur Dent, because he is so human. A totally good nature, with no meanness at all. He leaves 'em laughing, and I'm happy to resemble him in that way as well.

I didn't know that "The Waste Land" referred to the carnage of World War I. There are probably only three or four people still alive who remember fighting in that war. Even Brooke Astor, who was a volunteer nurse for wounded veterans, finally died last year at the age of 105. Her son goes on trial next month on charges of allegedly mismanaging her money.

Bluesue, you might feel a little better knowing that I was born in April, too. I'm one of those Tauruses who make a beeline for what they want, with not a lot of side to side perception.
