Aye! They do, ........we have all been asked to go in at 15.00 tomorrow, as the doctor wants to speak to us, and give us an update of her treatment to date.
So we are hoping it will be good news, her two sons and daughter will all be there, as well as myself.

It was just to give them a history on Mk2s condition before she was admitted, of course the rest of them didn't know that much, as it was me that was looking after her 24/7.
The doctor was amazed that we never had any outside help, prior to her being diagnosed with cancer?
They couldn't tell us much, as they have treating her chest infection that she picked up while in hospital?

I just cannot figure out what is happening with hospitals these days - we are supposed to go there to get better not get more infection.
Hope she is feeling brighter soon.

Aye! WS, she looked a lot better today, they got rid of that chest infection, so the doctor told us today, that they can start on treating the cancer now.
So now we can only hope.

Cheers for that folks, much appreciated. I was a bit earlier today, just as well I did, as I was her only visitor all day,....so much for families Eh?
She wasn't to bright today, a bit tired and drowsy?

I am sure she was pleased to see you and it's best to forget about the others, getting annoyed or upset will only affect you and Mark ll.
U was talking to a friend today and we were saying how people make promises to visit to do things and then don't and how hurtful it is.

Aye! WS, I think it was that recent row over the family grave plot, that really upset Mk2' but your right, that's why I didn't make a big fuss over none of them coming to see her.
It's just that, they don't see the damage they are doing, and that annoys me! but I never show it.

Neither do I, and maybe we should, or how will they know? But then we don't know what the fallout would be, and it could be worse.
Take care,

Just dropped in to see how things are. I won't be online for a day or two but thought I would just let you know I haven't forgotten you both.

Cheers for that WS, much appreciated, not so good news though, they are trying different drugs to treat her cancer, and she went through a bad spell last night?
But it wasn't really her that was acting up, it was the drugs, but all the same, it wasn't a good experience to go through?

Oh dear, that's a shame. I hope they can find something suitable soon, it must be difficult for both of you.
I was doing an overnight babysit for my four year old granddaughter which was lovely but exhausting

Thanks WS, it's funny how all the offers of help and counselling that was offered when my wife was first diagnosed, suddenly disappears when you need it?

It happens often Smudger. Partly, I think because people just do not know what to say or do.

I found myself doing that today, as when I went in to visit Mk2, she told me that her friend at the Hospice passed away the night before, the mood in the whole place was somber today.
It was a sad day for everyone, even the nurses were effected when her husband came in to clear his wife's room out at the Hospice.
Smudger,

Very sad, but perhaps a blessing. i know of someone who desperately wants to go to a better place, but something is keeping him against his will, so sad.
Hope you and Markll are doing ok.

They are still trying to get Mk2. a place in our local hospice, as she has improved a lot recently, so there is still hope.
At least a few more months they reckon, so as soon as she able, she will get to come home.
