RevCracker is an ancient riddle.
The precise etymology of the name is unknown.
Dr. Phineas G. Tuffle maintains that it is an ancient Assyrian anagram for "daylight precision bombing".
RevCracker is also believed to have been mentioned in the unabridged legend of Prestor John as some sort of cleric who died while doing battle with an evil clown named "Ronald".
The name further appears as a mythical figure in Micronesia, also known as "Tugg-miung-geck-aloo" ("He Who Rubs With Brasso"). There, RevCracker is the patron saint of fishmongers and one-eyed margerine salesmen.
Rev. Dr. H. Cracker(1841-1913), born Hiram Malachi Krakov, is an American historical figure, known mostly to close students of American Church History. He is considered by some scholars to have been the first to formulate the "just because" statements (e.g. "Just because you're the suspicious sort doesn't mean people aren't following you." & "Just because you're a drunk doesn't mean that little green men don't live in your rafters.").
