...and welcome to h2g2.
You seem to have been missed by the descending horde of <./>ACEs</.> because there was such a long time between you applying for the account and creating yourself a personal space page.
Are you getting on OK or do you need any help? If you do want to look at other people's pages and how they work you can use Test###### for an A-number page and TestUserPage###### for a U-number (personal space page). So yours would be <./>Test2411849</.> or <./>TestUserPage208607</.>.
As well as a lot of "researchers", h2g2 also has quite a lot of these <./>smileys</.> which you can use in postings or pages. If you are up for trying a little of the local version of HTML, called GuideML, you can have larger pictures on your page too. See <./>GuideML-PictureLibrary</.> for an index to many of the pictures and <./>DontPanic-GuideML</.> for an introduction to the use of GuideML.
There are a lot of ways of finding things on the site. Try <./>Search</.> if you know the sort of keywords you want, <./>Index</.> if you know the title, <./>C0</.> (the category system) if you know the subject or one of the randomisers such as <./>RandomEntry</.> if you really don't care where you go next.
Here are a few more links you might like to try. A660340 is a list of "Clubs and Societies" on h2g2. <./>Askh2g2</.> and, to a lesser extent, <./>MiscChat</.> are good places to start or join a random conversation. If you don't understand the local terminology, have a look at A632431 "h2 Jargon" and A901829 "h2g2 Glossary". See the guide entries too important to be merely a number at <./>NamedEntries</.>.
If you do have a question, click on the reply link below and I'll be back. Otherwise, feel free to ignore this message.

There _is_ quite a lot of it all. There are neighbouring sub-sites too - as you may have noticed when logging in. These have different reasons for existing (and different colour schemes!), eg <./>/dna/getwriting/</.> started with a TV-related competition and is still an area for creative writing whereas <./>/dna/ican/</.> is about organising protest campaigns.

Speaking of which, h2g2 Friends of Tibet may be of interest - A2170982.
h2g2 Friends of Tibet is a resource and meeting place, in the finest h2g2 tradition, with the latest (or nearly so) news and information about Tibet, together with a Current Projects section geared to doing some good.
Have a look and let me know what you think.
