AYEBEE PW - RIP TERRI Posted Feb 6, 2010
Hey there, not been able to get you on the phone for the past week or so. have been up to my eyes in it. we never did get down to you. basketball tournaments and mother in laws and puppies and the like.
wont post all my thoughts on here! but i will talk to you. if you can let me know when is a good time to call then i will do that.or is the phone on the blink? it doesnt go through to ring when i dial the number
as other posters have said, talkin is really the best thing right now. i have to say i think it's come up before, hasnt it? i think that p should not have come home and just said that, and sometimes i think he blurts out things and does not really mean them, so i think you're doing the right thing, letting things settle and see whats what.
does not excuse saying it, i think it's not fair on you. you're trying to adjust and make the best of things there still, and life is not simple or easy in your 'eco home'. but i think that he goes through strange phases, where he just wants to be alone, and then others when he panics cos he might end up that way. he's not easy to live with but you both usually come through it..
so. in that mode i'm just kind of holding my breath and thinkin maybe he's 'in his cave' and that if you talk to him and if he talks to you you can come through it, and maybe even learn more about what makes him tick, and end up closer....
thats my feeling.
you know why i am coming from a different angle, so maybe i'm wrong. i just think things are worth saving. we only get one life....... as i am all too aware, and i wouldnt go without a fight. this could also be a cry for help from him. confusion. where is his life going etc.... dont just let him tell you how it is and accept that, simply cos it's his place and you feel constantly like you're putting him out...
you're not.
you've probably saved him from himself and you've certainly brought colour into his life..... dont put yourself down.
love ya.
talk soon
xx

Aww, thank you so much, all my fiends., wise words from all of you, which helps make sense of things more; it means so much that despite *your* own personal problems, you take time out to help me.
Things seem somewhat better on a day-to-day basis, i'm trying to stay out of his way as much as is practical, get on with my own stuff; let him approach me when he wants to...and we *are* now taking about this; i have stated that once he changes 'voice tone'; i panic (unecessarily; he wouldn't physically hurt me; just a reaction from past experience), which makes me go into 'defence/attack' mode, so the whole thing spirals out of control.
He suggested last night we go to the local music craic, which was great idea, got us both out of the house & taliking to other people. We actually go quite gy, bur once back here i ...no details, but i cannot do norty stuff yet.
I watched his phots/videos of Scandinavian trip when not in panic mode in plane powererd by it seems rubber bands, flying into mountains, then him on glaciers, jeez, i am glad i didn't get invited to go!!! Even *he* found it cold!
(PC would be a better partner on that trip!)
Yes,<pirate), you've met him & i fully agree. best time to phone is usually early evening, say 5 to 8 p.m, but dunno how that coincides with the little lads bedttime?
How's the puppy? this one seems to grow about two inches a day, cats are Not Impressed!

Hi Terri! I really hope the speaking-with-each-other helps ... I really hope he was over-impulsive when he said he wasn't in love with you any more ... maybe being away from you, he forgot what you were like!

Yes, my Wooh, I would love to visit Scandinavian places some day. I'm not really keen on heights, so I am afraid to ride ski lifts or those car thingies that dangle from cabling... only went skiing once, wound up with a spiral fracture of the wrist and swore I'd never do it again. But I'd enjoy visiting a cooler climate, maybe during springtime, as much as I've enjoyed visiting more tropical ones.

zendevil Posted Feb 8, 2010
Excellent, PC, so you can take a break with P (and scream on cable cars!!!) & i will look after K here & teach him how to cope with frisky donkeys!
As says, we *do* seem to get through these crises, eventually; maybe we're both a bit too passionate?
It seems better now, we've done a lot of talking; basically seems neither of us want the relationship to end, just need to find a better balance & more , which is, as said, difficult in an eco-house...just simply juggling the energy status is difficult; but possibly easier for us than it may be for others who have always just clicked a switch & light/heat etc arrive automatically..but you have to go out & work for someone else to get that, to pay the bills. We don't have to do that, the house is paid for, no electricity bills, which is great.
In France, i spent more than half my benefits on topping up rent & paying energy bills & still wasn't warm enough. (But i do seem to feel the cold more than most; shivering now, yet it's 18° in here & i have 3 layers on!)
I think i will go back to be with a hotty-bottle (lemonade bottle with hot water in; plus Yoda, the ultimate furry hotty bottle!)
....after i've taken puppydog for a pee of course. She has now decided that Fritz is her Best Fiend & the yard broom is her best toy.

Terri - the best hot water bottle is a cuddly boyfriend. Additional bonus: you show him he´s needed. Being of use boosts a man´s ego no end - even if we might suspect you could have achieved better result in half the time on your own.

zendevil Posted Feb 9, 2010
I agree, Pit, i don't feel cold when snuggled up to cuddly BF!; but i guess staying in bed all day & night getting warm 'in the nicsst possible way' isn't totally practical; as he said, "You get nothing else done" & there are animals etc to consider...
Talking of which; i've hopefully finally managed to email some pix of Woolie Bear, we've spent much of today trying to connect a router, so we don't have to haul modem back & forth; it doesn't seem to work; at one point we despaired we would ever get internet connexion again; i think he's given up & will be returning the dam thing to the shop.
Maybe there is 'too much' technology on the market? P has new computer, so the old one is lying around, this thing works, but you have to scroll back & forth to go up & down; it's a tiny Acer notepad, any advice in words of one syllable greatly appreciated (bear in mind it's a French system, used in Eye land, P's is a German one; so European Regulations apply!)
Tomorrow pup should get her booster jabs & microchip, general check-up etc; that should be fun!

Hello Terri
I hope things will get better for you and P.
You are both in my prayers and thoughts.
A friend is one who will always try to lift your spirits high.
A friend will know the tears are nigh before they reach your eye.
The laughter that we both may share will bind us most of all
Because it has made the happiness of having you to call.

Yippee, i am now signed into the new system; so long as i don't use any Gaelic or Welsh words, criticise Italics or go off-topic.
There is, as yet, no ban on snarling, hissing or spitting, or usage of Yodish.
"Not go off-topic"???????
Hope this isn't off topic, but Pit (please don't say *"danke"!;*)
TRANSLATION = Thank You.
i've hopefully sent you pix of cute puppy, better agree she is ccute, or you may offend me.
Snaily better make sure you don't say "bach", unless it's in the context of a blog discussing music.
Those from an island partly under English rule, but mainly a Republic must avoid the use of the word 'craic' ovbiously; this could not only be seen as using Gaelic word, but possible sexual connotations.
Meanwhile, safe topic: Puppy has had jab booster & we have "natural diet" sheet, basically, she is best on mainly vegetarian diet with the odd bone every now & again.
zdt *still snarling, but had to agree to terms, or i can't post.*

You get your tagline back, but you need German tank scouts to find back home.
Terri, got your Emil. I now know the names of a lot of P´s friends, but you should have included bics of WB.

Just to add to complications; we are still trying to insall a router, my sodding screen needs scrolling back & forth to go up & down; P's computer is way across the yard in the cold, to try & see if it works with modem over here & both of us online.
Plus just worked out baby due dates; looks unlikely we can make German meet, we will need to be here to sort lambs out.
This new sign in system is a pain.
Pupis now microchipped & boosted; seems totally exhausted, hope that doesn't mean she is sick from jabs.
