i think the postage would cost more than i earn in a year....

Not nesscelary! it costs me 64p to send a card to Japan from the UK and 43p to send it the other way.. so Oz to France can't be that much more? can it?

i live in australia. postage to ANYWHERE costs heaps.

i wasn't sure if anyone else was around.

i posted a new thread on 'ask h2g2' where i copied most of an email i received about a new bill that a congressman is trying to introduce to give congress back the power over america going to war or not.

i don't know yet why it got moderated. someone posted saying what i posted was spam. i'm not sure if it was, as i only posted it once.

how are you and what are you up to ?

I'm leaping back and forth between screennames, adding a few new dreams to my Journal.

I saw How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days this weekend. Was quite cute. Kate Hudson and Matthew McConehey (sp?) were charming and funny as the lead couple.

I'm looking foward to tomorrow night. My brother and his wife are coming over for pizza, so that will be fun.

i had a link modded out of a post a while back and still don't really understand why, so it wouldn't surprise me if i don't understand this one too. both are political posts...

It disappoints me though that someone would yikes something just because it is politcal. People should be entitled to express different viewpoints.

the link that got moderated was to a very funny song to the tune of 'if you're happy and you know it', which was called lets bomb iraq. did you see that thread ?

it was basically anti bush but no more than lots of posts on h2 and it didn't seem in any way defamatory to me. someone had posted the whole song which got modded out. i posted a link to an offsire website which had the song. i was surprised it got modded out too.

the mods said it was offensive and we needed to be careful about things like that at the moment. or something like that. i haven't been back to them yet about it.
