Oh, Ellen - hi btw - where's that entry on 'copy & paste for newbies'? Liked those penguins, on your page/space..., actually, I think I'm turning in- night all...or, considering that its just after 2am here...good morning...(or as Hati's done - just shortened it, to " 'ning " .)

greetings everyone.
i don't feel like i've caught up with anyone properly for ages. the last week has been very weird in the other life so i've just been popping in and out, playing linkword, reading threads, avoiding (mostly) the contentious threads that has been stressing me out...
i wish we knew how Terri is.

Hello everyone
Quick news from Terri.
She is still in hospital and probably will for the next 2 or 3 weeks at least.
She's not having a great time but it seems that this difficult experience will be rewarding on the long term as she is getting help with her problems that she would never have found at home (some problems require professionals).
Anyone who already has our email address is welcome to get in touch with me for more info but I would be grateful if a convo about these rather private matters could be avoided here. Thanks for understanding.
She thinks of you all.

Hey Jazz. How to Cut and Paste for Newbies is A938504. It is listed under most recent guide entries, under my conversations, on the left side of my user page. (In alabaster, anyway)

j~z~c this sounds so silly, but I`d to add Hati to my 'friends' list-only I can`t find the 'add-on-part'??? Also,if the cut-&- paste makes sense to you-could you run it by me? An Ace sent me a really helpfull way to go about it-but I`ve not tried it yet. Neugen

Go to Hati's space...in the right margin, it'll say 'add to friends list'...as for the 'copy & paste', I'm afraid I need the totally 'idiot proof' version (read 'copy & paste for REAl Dummies'!)

hi Jazz
hi Neugen - if you go to a personal space there is a button in the top right hand corner just below the researcher's name and number. the button says 'add to friends'. if you click on that button that researcher will be added to the friends list on your page.
this is if you are in goo. if you are in something else then the add to friends button may be elsewhere, but it will be somewhere on every researcher's page.
kea
