Lol, I keep doing that! I really shouldn't try cooking when I'm already hungry. Did you get your food in the end? My usual trick is to eventually shut the oven door, forget about it completely, and burn the food to a cinder.

Ah, you mean you left it on after taking the food out, don't you? I do that too.

It's so cold here, I wonder if I should do just that

It does make the kitchen awfully cosy.

It's also something that sets the electric metre spinning in a frenzy. I'm stoney broke right now I don't need a large quarterly energy bill at the end of the month.

I'm trying to get a meet arranged between myself and someone at the CMHC who knows the best approach to filling out an application to the social fund for a budgeting loan. Cogs just don't move that fast though... I could just download and print out a form and send it off, but I'm hoping the person will have some useful experience to bestow.
