Take advice from a hairdresser? Rather him than me! Not that I'm phobic or anything... okay, yes, I'm a bit phobic of hairdressers... but, I ask you, am I not justified? Hairdressing is what happens when you let a lunatic loose with a pair of shears.
"Shall I blend the sides in with the back?" means, "shall I cut off all of your lovely long hair?
"Why don't I layer it? It'll look lovely" means, "why don't I lop off six inches more than you asked me to?"
"It grows faster if you trim it more often" means, "won't you come into my parlour, said the spider to the fly."
Anyway, don't mind me. I'm sure the hairdressers will do a *lovely* job with your hair, Azathoth.

It has been done. Tis I think think the shortest it has been in about 3 years.

I guess it's about 'ear length' rather than 'nape of the neck length'. 3 inches off 3 inches on.

I took that useless camera I had at the summermeet back the following Monday. I'm yet to scrape together funds for a functional replacement. Don't know when I'll next be near camera attracting event. Could be the new AutumnMeet - if it happens.

It doesn't look as if it will be crowded, does it ?
Are you planning to go, even if only few people will come there ?

I'll be deciding closer to the time. I've been to all but one of the larger London meets in the last 3 and half years.

I've been to four London meets now in the three years I'm on hootoo. I'll not be going in October, though.

Ze book is currently residing in my Private Reading Room; ie the toilet; where i get most of my offline reading done. Shall i add a badge of my own to the cover before sending it on?
It will have to wait till i get paid; they have stopped my benefits 'cos of administrative cock up; but as soon as i get some dosh; no probs. I may even have some German people coming to stay via Hospitality Club, in which case they can post it on to you within Germany.

I'll have bee here four years as of October 17th.
I think folk have been adding a few words to say the book has been with them in their part of this gas cover rock in a gravitywell.
I added the 'Some Call Me Laz' badge because it was Relevant to works of Robert Rankin. I guess having a badge as souvenir of France is relevant to 'Around The World' aspect. A kinda lugage sticker or passport stamp for the book.

Yes; nice idea! The book gets heavier as it travels around the globe, but hey man, it's acquired experience!
