Well the Victorian get up is for the wedding celebration. The book launch I think Victorian dress is somewhat optional.

The Victorian wear is for the wedding celebration that's part of the 3 days of event which include the book launch and the opening a small museum exhibition.
I've been offered the chance to go kilted, but I'll need belts and maybe some other things...

It is my intention to purchase a phone equipped with a camera for the purpose of taking pictures at both at this and during my visit to Sweden.
I don't know if I will be wearing a kilt I do have at least one one other idea. But thankfully I do know someone with a kilt who is willing to give me loan of it should I need it.

Great, it's always good to have a plan B
When will you be going to Sweden? I've never been to Sweden.

19th day of June. I've not been there before either, which is a good reason to go.

I'm fine, thanks, how are you?
So that's only four weeks to go. Are you excited?

A bit nervous and a bit worried and also looking forward to it a bit.
I've bought a red trolley bag with white polka dots that meets Ryanair's measurements.

I had bought a small trolley bag before I went to London - it was a relief not having to carry a rucksack on my shoulders.
I guess you want to take yours as hand luggage then. No idea about RA's security, but just as a warning: do take things like deo, shampoo, lotion in an extra small plastic bag, I think that's valid throughout Europe. I didn't regard those as 'liquids', so had them (plus the sweet mustartd I took) in my suitcase, and they searched it at the airport.

Yeah, I want to take it as hand baggage.
It's Europe wide airport security that requires the little plastic bags and silly amounts of "liquids". I have some "Cinna Mint" travel tooth paste that Stephanie sent me a while back and I'm using it as an excuse to experiment with Lush's solid shampoo bars and solid deodorant.

I've never heard of solid shampoo bars.
Thanks for staying over there, I was afraid she had chased you away. She claims to be ten yo. She's one of lil's 'little ones', was away for ages, but it seems she's back now.

You can take a look at some of their interesting things here: http://www.lush.co.uk/shop/
Showers jellies, bubble bars, shampoo bars and bricks... great stuff.
Seems there won't be a Nordic meet for me to take these things on.
Not sure what I'm gonna try and do about that yet. Maybe I can fiddle with the dates and/or route and take still take a short break somewhere without too much extra cost rather than than my tickets being a complete write off.

What do you mean: no Nordic Meet? I haven't followed it, but wasn't it planned to be in Lund where Milla lives? What happened then?

I just found the page. I'm very sorry. I can't even offer that you come here instead, because I don't live in or near Lund.
I'm sorry for Milla aswell.

Milla was opening her house in Lund to guests for Midsommar, yes.
I don't precisely know. Something 'personal' is all that has been revealed and that as much explaination as is needed really. If I knew more I would not expect to reveal it anyway. I hope the all best for her. She's a friend and much loved.

Yes, I've seen that, which is why I said I'm sorry for her. She's wonderful and wouldn't cancel this if not for very serious reasons, and I wouldn't even think of asking. If she decides to tell you or one of the others, in email, then fine. I'd still not ask. I wouldn't tell everything, either, not even to my closest friends.

"Yes, I've seen that, which is why I said I'm sorry for her."
I'd hit 'reply' before you'd hit 'post'.
