for the cake. I'll need a snack. Think it's going to be a late dinner again. Have to go put helium in balloons for one of the productions I'm doing props for. It's supposed to be part of the design scheme. Not sure I know why.
Good evening
airscotia-back by popular demand Posted Jun 11, 2003
Helium eh? I'm sure you'll make light work of that.
I know what i keep meaning to ask you, have you painted that room yet or is it still yukky green?
Good evening
airscotia-back by popular demand Posted Jun 11, 2003
I'm trying to think of a production that needs lots of balloons, and failing miserably. But i have thought of a good trick , fill a few of them with flour for the last night.
Like your style...I don't like the colour scheme..i move.
For my next trick i sell the car 'cos the ashtray's full
Good evening
Emee, out from under the rock Posted Jun 12, 2003
I've lived there 7 years. I have more stuff than space. It's time for a move, or at least a garage sale.
The baloons are for Die Fledermaus. It's a party so, of course, you have to have baloons.
No ashtray in my car. Not sure what I'll use as a reason to sell it.
Good evening
airscotia-back by popular demand Posted Jun 12, 2003
Don't need an ashtray, that,s why they give us windows.
There should be a balloon smiley on here i reckon, i've been looking all over for one.
Stuff collects like it has a life of it's own, that's why i won't ever move again, it's the thought of clearing out all that junk
Good evening
Emee, out from under the rock Posted Jun 12, 2003
Packing is going to be an adventure. I'm sure I'll find all sorts of things I thought were gone forever.
I don't smoke, so the ashtray is a moot point.
Wonder when the next round of smileys is due out?
Good evening

When are you actually doing the dread deed then Emee?,and is it a nice place you're going to(hardly gonna be worse than the yukky green though is it)
I stopped smoking 5 years ago, but up to then i'd been smoking 60 a day very stressful job at the time.
According to Unc we can't have any new smileys cos thre's no room but we might be able to swap some new for un-used old
Good evening
Emee, out from under the rock Posted Jun 12, 2003
Congratulations on quitting. I've had friends do that and I know it isn't easy.
Haven't actually found a place yet. Have to find time to look. It will probably be in July or early August.
I'm not sure which of the old smileys I'd be willing to give up. I'm partial to and and . And the is
Good evening
airscotia-back by popular demand Posted Jun 12, 2003
That's the problem with smileys you just decide which one you're gonna get rid of, then you find yourself using it more.I've never used though so i reckon that one could go.
I've got a fly in the room here and it's driving me nuts, had a few swats at it, could be time for the spray. Always makes me a bit queasy killing them though after watching the film...'Help me....help me'( the original of course not the re-make)
Good evening

Yep fine now thanks.
Hope all is going well with the production, you luvvie you.
I've just started re-reading ' Keep the aspidistra flying ' by George Orwell, it's a bit of an Orwell thing over here at the moment, true brilliance.
Good evening

I've never read any HP, and really must. I haven't ignored it so much as never really got round to it.
The oldest Airscotian has got the whole lot and loves them, so i will make a point of raidind his library when i've finished KTAF.
Weather here is at the moment real beach boys stuff..... She's got her daddy's car and...........
Good evening

Weather here is hot (32C) and sticky. It's supposed to rain tonight. Hopefully that will help. We're moving the department offices to another part of the building. I move on Friday. Still have a lot to pack .
The plays are going well. Only one more show I need to go to for props. Then it's stage management until August. Hopefully we'll get enough rehearsal time. The director has to be out of town for a couple of days.
Good evening

Weathers changed a bit here too , pretty much like yours.
Great to catch you about this early though, normally i'm just off to bed when you pop up........sounds a bit risque.
Talking of which, do you do many farces or is it mainly the more serious plays. You are by the way the only person i know that is the least bit theatrical, apart from my ex brother in law, who writes plays.
Good evening
Emee, out from under the rock Posted Jun 25, 2003
I'm being bad today & playing online in between packing boxes.
Mostly regular plays. I love the old French farces though. They make me . In the summer we do a musical. This year it's 'I Love You, You're Perfect, Now Change'. It's a comedy .
