Ookie ba chan.
I have found your telling of the rites and of the funeral very moving and I hope it has not been too stressful. I send my respects to you an a virtual gift with my thoughts. GA

Japanese people believe that when a person dies their spirit will hang around for up to 7 weeks and that is 1 reason why the family is still meeting every night to be with her ,2 evenings ago my wife thought that she could feel Ookie ba chans spirit visiting our house and this land has always been owned by the family and I am sure Ookie ba ghan worked this land when she was younger.
I still haven't seen the pic's yet the camera they are in is at the moment in Australia with my sister in law but should be back this weekend .
