Lill seemed a little spaced out when I phoned
her at lunch time....I think the painkillers
are working...but Mum is still in a lot of pain.
Well reguarding little sis VV I haven't heard anything
I don't even know if she is still under lock and key!!
I know that she will do her damnedest to get home*giggles*

no intentions of going to hospital...because I work
in a dental practice

Farmers are allowed to use dyed (cheaper) diesel if they do not travel over a certain distance on public roads. Only local farmers and those who license the tractors can protest here. If they've travelled and have dyed fuel the vehicle can be impounded if they are licensed. If they aren't licensed then they have an unroadworthy vehicle (no tax, MOT, and inadequate insurance cover).
If they turn up in a car and it's a diesel, guess who does the test for the gov't and oil companies from time to time?
These idiots deserve everything they get!
Oil companies don't set taxes, Gov't does! But blockading Customs and excise gets no headlines and doesn't hold the country to ransom.
If they want to protest use their vote wisely in the elections. Simple isn't it? Except they are probably apathetic non voters.
The action they take is akin to us protesting outside the homes of parents whose children misbehave in public, or the school that teaches the kid.
All they do is upset the locals (As VV and G probably know) cause panic buying and shortages and save us a packet because we get free fuel during shortages as without us there isn't any!
As iritating as they are I haven't yet decided to give them free fuel. Delivery by a very large syringe with my lighter at the tip!!
If an all out strike didn't bring the oil companies to their knees how can a few dopes in tractors hope to, pillocks!!
Facts: we all need oil. we all pay taxes. we are free to protest. we are all free to vote (but the majority don't_ if more than 50% of us don't vote how can a gov't be elected with a massive majority mr newsman) But I am a free man and they don't have the right to harrass me or obstruct me. someone will get hurt and god won't be a big enough power to stop me if it's me or mine that get hurt.

And here I am back from holiday, checking up and hoping VV would be free by now, and instead I find out that Lil's in hospital as well!

Please don't worry.. I was only in A & E .. they sent me home
VV is currently on the Isle of Wight enjoying a rest from her escapades and she seems to be recovering very well..
