Take it from me, although it hurts and you can't work out why and you try to mend it, it does get better. One day you remember that maybe everytime you rang them up, they talked over you and never let you get a word in edgeways, or something like that. You start to realise that life actually is better without them, cause they are toxic. I know it sounds daft but its true, some people just are toxic for us.

So look after yourself. Just to reassure you, I am feeling the most sane I have done for years right now. All the grief and angst of the last few years are gone. Maybe that had something to do with a toxic acquintance I had as well?!

Hi VV, well, what a todo eh? Seems us good folk are the ones that get the kicks in life.well, as in my most recent journal, first of all you know I'm here for all of your family, secondly the ongoing saga you refer to is not only sad but highlights just how low and mean people can get.
One thing I have learned over many years of dealing with people in all walks of life is that there are those that will constantly bite the hand that feeds it. They take all the help and support offered over a long period of time then turn it into a weapon to deliberately hurt those who helped in dire times. It may be their way of showing grief or anger, it is still inexscusable behaviour and whatever the circumstances is no way to behave in a civilised society. Just treat them with the contempt they deserve and avoid all future contact. Be safe in the knowledge that you and your family have done no wrong, quite the reverse, you should all be proud of the past support you showed to these people.
You are a caring family, unsung heroes when it comes to offering help without being asked or prompted, I know, I'm a recipient of that help and will be forever grateful.

Thats the formal bit done, now about these pooh sticks, ask mum to unblock the stream with her tree trunk, my feet are wet from the flood and the puddycats are getting webbed feet!!

I remember when someone was having a go at me in someone elses journal, it was quite vicious and I was very upset that no-one stood up for me and said it was not true. I asked one of my 'friends' why they didn't stand up for me and their excuse was that they would have to apologise to all the victims of the holocaust as well. I thought it was a bizarre excuse for not standing up for me. So the person got to keep saying lies about me and accusing me of animal cruelty, and not one person stood up for me.

Anyway, just to say I know how hurtful people can be, but it does seem to be symptomatic of this site. Which is a real big shame. I do hope you have a better day today.

Its amazing how much better your life can be when you realise the bad things in it and spring clean them away. You can spend time again on the things you want to and everything is so much better.

For instance physio and singing lessons, both of which are going very well! I am planning my first cd of covers to go out to my singing teachers contacts, with a view to getting session work.

BTW not everyone you can't on with is a bad person, sometimes you just can't get on with everyone. Some people just don't mesh together, it doesn't make anyone wrong. But to know when to walk away is a wise move.

I am talking about my personal stuff again. Please don't let me kill another of VV convos. I promise to only talk about VV's stuff here from now on.
