2 working days till holiday...

Finish for Christmas on Friday smiley - hollysmiley - biggrinsmiley - xmastree - 3 whole weeks of doing, erm, not very much. Woo-hoo!

The other half, who has recently been working his smiley - bleep off, also finishes on Friday for a similar amount of time - so I fully intend to spend some time with him, too smiley - loveblush.

Our time at the rally last month was great fun. Even sleeping in a van was pretty comfortable... though we did have 3 duvets, 2 sleeping bags and 4 pillows in there.

The only drawback, which spoiled the whole thing, was morons setting huge fireworks off till well past 3am smiley - grrsmiley - cross

Still, I'll be there again next year!

Back off holiday

A week in *lovely* Skegness with the folks.... much better than I thought it would be! A nice break away from w**k was what I wanted, and that's what I got.

Although I have found that not only has my beer tolerance reduced drastically smiley - headhurts, my ability to eat fatty food and greasy takeaways has gone! Even a simple cheese and onion toasted sarnie contained enough fat within to make me feel sick for the rest of the day (I won't tell you the rest..... too gross!). So I came back off holiday craving a nice, crisp green salad smiley - erm

Also caught back up with the boyfriend in person, which was nice smiley - biggrin. We must have spent at least 45 minutes on the phone every night I was away!

On the other front, I got baptised yesterday smiley - wow so I am now a confirmed Christian. Technically I'm also born-again. I won't bang on about it here but feel free to ask me about it. I don't talk about my belief unless people want me to (or it's on here where people don't have to read it)...

Some people...

...are very thoughtless.

I can't believe a discarded cigarette butt has caused a fire which has completely gutted the National Motorbike Museum, and reduced so many rare, unique and priceless machines to so much scrap.

It makes me so angry smiley - grrsmiley - grr

I was lucky enough to go there earlier this year, and I easily could have spent days in there looking round, and I can only thank God that some bikes were saved. But none should have been destroyed at all! smiley - grr

Just in case you were all getting completely lost...

Yup, me and the ex are back together, after much discussion and deciding that we really missed each other as people.

The fact that we regularly spent 3/4 hour on the phone to each other, just talking about random things kind of helped, too.

Yay!

Woo-hoo!

Have ordered my tickets for the Rally GB - all 3 (well, technically 4) days of it! smiley - cool

Now I have to figure out if it's possible for me and the ex to be able to sleep in the back of an Escort van for 3 nights.....

Yes, I'm going with the ex. Relations between us are good if a bit weird smiley - erm, as we were in danger of going on the rebound from each other, with each other, if that makes *any* sense.

I suppose we've got till November to get it sorted, anyway.....
