It's True

I think it was Victor Lewis-Smith who said,

'Imitation is the sincerest form of being an unimaginative b*****d.'

This is true.

The Rt. Rev. Lesley Gentle's Weekly Sermon Transcript

There appears to be a swathe of the American populace (quite possibly known there as Republicans) who are blighted by ignorance and patriotic fervour based upon a childish 'We're richer than you!' argument. The so-called land of the free, where you are free to die because of a chronic under-provision of healthcare because of the nation's obsession with trade-liberalism and the reduction of frontiers of the state (on home grounds that is, leaving the CIA free to interfere with the runnings of South American states to preserve their own precious freedoms).

Meanwhile Cuba, far from perfect as we all know with a regime many deem opressive and undemocratic (unlike the glorious unfettered democracy of the US where everybody's voice can be heard as long as you are an oil billionaire) is able to provide free healthcare, to an excellent standard, as well as free education, again to an excellent standard. Still America feels overtly threatened by this tiny nation because of it's prejudice and intolerance towards any state that should have the cheek not to tow the line cast out by the US. America tries it's very best to subvert the Cuban system and hinder it with it's trade embargo. Why? Maybe the US is scared that the population may wake up from perpetual slumber and realise that they are getting a rotten deal whilst its corporations grow fat and rich, saving money by forcing the workers to pay for their education and health care when it is needed, providing efficiency gains for companies and a lifetime of debt for the people who then have to work as slaves for the rest of their sorry lives to pay them off.

Maybe it is because Starbucks have failed to get permission to open any branches in Havana and the Marlboro man hasn't been able to get hold of any cigars or maybe just that the people haven't taken up Blockbusters delightful services and rented one of the 6000 copies of Space Jam available in every store. I personally blame it on the evil people that elected the cross-eyed, illiterate, sub-human primate who currently sits in the White House, twiddling his thumbs, trying and failing to learn the names of 'those people who come to visit from foreign places'. By 'the evil people', I obviously don't hold the voters completely accountable, but also the hierarchy of corruption that has thrived in America since 1945.

Let us pray...

Fetid Mimsy

Hands together and eyes closed.

Some people say that the use of swearwords is a sign of having a limited vocabulary. This is clearly a pile of sanctimonious f*****g w**k spouted by Daily Mail reading middle-of-the-road c***s who harbor feelings of superiority because they have purged themselves of these 'evil words' that will make our children's ears bleed.

Swearwords are words too, and I would argue that those who don't swear are actually the ones with limited vocabularies, and not only that, they are prejudiced bigots. I want to see a world where there is no discrimination based on choice of words to express oneself, as long as the point being made is plausible and internally coherent.

Not swearing doesn't make you in any way superior to troopers like myself, it makes you lack a sense of humanity. Anyway, how can swearing be the sign of a limited vocabulary? What other words can be used when describing such people as Geoffrey Archer (c**t), George Bush (c**t), Jim Davidson (f*****g c**t hole) and Mother Theresa (f*****g genious).

F**k c**t w****r a**e b*****s s**t t**s t**t t****r r**e a**s c*****g m****r f**k d**k licking s**t for brains no good son of a bitch. F**k you c***s up your stinking brown a**e holes!!

Amen.
