18 is far more reasonable than the Puritanical American limit. Bearing in mind that America has more crime, despite the morally wrong death penalty (they're the only "civilised" country to impose it) and the daft alcohol-allowed-age, and the idiot President who wasn't properly elected and controls the American media in an undemocratic militaristic state, I'll stick with Europe any day, thank you very much.

And 21 as the legal alcohol age is a stupid idea. Besides the fact that I've got 7 more years to go, it's just unreasonable. Although our driving age is 16, and I'm not sure what the European one is. Dammit, I'm moving to Amsterdam!

In the UK the legal driving limit is 17... Think it's being upped by one year soon though.
