h2g2 The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy: Earth Edition

Thats my first day of univercity done,
I have sore feet from having to walk all over the place in new shoes
I found student services to be one of the least useful places on earth
and whats more i start my first project tomorrow

I have to get up at 6.30 to catch the 7.20 bus, the journey is about an hour long and the next bus would get me there too late,
my class is from 9.30 till 4.00 possiably 4.30 depending
although it is a half day on wedenesdays.

I'm exausted, I just want to put my feet up and sleep for a week
I do wonder why i desided to do this
but it can only get easyer with time

I might be as hopeful to think i might have made a friend or two
since i dont normally mix with people i guess this is an improvement,

I did the whole enrolement thing today and have my NUS card, though i will probably have to pay the £10 to get it changed to an NUS plus card....

also have my libery card, complete with really bad looking photo.

I'm now going to go have an early night

I put one of my chaucer enteries into peer review, there to be cut to ribbons,

Funnily enough, I have mates at UCLAN, (one living in a flat with two mormans. Spooky!) and will be around in October for a 'Clone Roses' gig and a Hacienda night at the Union...

I'd avoid it if I were you....

didnt go to bed till 11.30
then woke up at 4am...

need..... sleep....
will kill for sleep...
*goes to find victom but falls asleep on the way*

I stay up 'till about 12 every night...
partying in the substance free and "quiet" dorm...

I only sleep 4 or so hours a night, and have done for years. Once you adjust it's great. Gives you more time to do stuff.

...I wake up at 7 am for a 9 am class...okay...we it's really because I'm a morning person...but still...I'm one of the first awake(no the first though...there a guy a few doors down that has me beat by a half an hour...)

I get up at 6am for a 10am class

when I was at uni I was always one of the first to get up, I was definately the firstin my block to shower, probabily because I wasn't a binge drinker

I generally didn't go to morning lectures....

now i wonder who that was...

come on could the culprate own up and appologise

You don't sleep for more than 4 hours yet you stll don't find time to go to morning lectures

To be honest, I am usually drunk...

ah now that explains everything


hay look at that, I can e.mail anyone from the uni in my webwise e.mail account....

You try doing a History lecture when you've been up all night drinking.

Especially one by a Welsh bloke who lisps and can't pronounce his r's.

Unfortunately for Merv, he lectures on "Twade and Impewiawithm in the Theventeenth to Nineteenth Thentuwies"

*sigh*
