Are smurfs the original blue bloods?
Hypatia Posted Sep 2, 2004
Well, as you are the smurf expert, I will take your word for it.
I posted to Never Again. Let's see if the seal wants to continue the adventure. You could bring a smurf on board the bus. Fundamentalist Smurf or Hooka Booka Smurf or Lillian MacPhail Smurf.

I'm not a smurf expert. I've just seen them enough.
If the seal continued the sojourn, so shall I. And with me inevitably comes smurfs.

Well, it was his idea in the first place, so if he doesn't post I think we should just permanently abandon bus. It's like throwing a birthday party for someone who doesn't show up. You don't really have any incentive to leave your gift behind for him when you leave.

Unless it's a surprise party, in which case you really can't blame him.
But I guess that doesn't apply here, eh?

Well, in light of his prolonged absense up to this point, I would say that he is totally uninterested in the thread. I probably should have left well enough alone. It will look like I'm being pushy again. But the time travel theme does have possibilities. It could be fun.

Speaking of anachronisms, have you been watching the Republican national convention?
Did you see Arnie? It was a fun speech to watch.

Nope. Haven't watched a single minute of it. Don't intend to watch it tonight either. I've seen snippets on the news. All of which have given me indigestion. Are people really that trusting to just fall for all that crap?
Arnold is just bizarre. His economic girly boy remark was funny, but the economics behind the statement are wrong. Everyone talks about what a rising star he is. I think he's a flash in the pan. And Zell Miller was always a Republican running as a Democrat. His statements were inflamatory, hypocritical and downright inaccurate.
I'm sick of the lying from both sides. If you run for President I shall insist that you tell the truth. Otherwise I shall expose your proclivities toward sheep.

I think Arnold could look on his joke-telling and he'd be really fun.
If he were born in the US, Arnold would be a great President, because he would be entertaining.
Sheep? Pah. Ohio may border West Virginia, but I'm closer to Indiana, which is a respectable state.

What you're closer to is Kentucky. I rest my case.

Dayton is closer to Indiana, really.
My relatives in Kentucky come from the paternal side, and we all know that the Y chromosome is the more important one for life.

No wonder you gravitated to the BBC
I have to admit I'm baffled as to how Uncle Harvey comes into play in all this.
