It's strange. Keep on thinking of the accent difference. The Canadian accent is a little like the Winsconsin accent, am I right?

It's a *very* big country. The second biggest in the world in fact after Russia. Would you expect the Russian spoken next to Manchuria to be the same as that next to Sweden? I myself have a mid-Atlantic accent due to my Brit parents but most of my friends sound like they are from the Eastern US. We still pronounce all the dirty words the same though....

Where are your parents from?

Dad was born in Winterton, Yorkshire and then moved to Winchester in his teens. He worked in London. Mum was born here but moved to London when she was young. They met there, had both my sisters there and me here. I'm a freak!

Ever been here?

Many times. I visit London once a year when I can although the last time I was there was almost two years ago. My favourite visit was after the Lillehammer Olympics when I recovered from the cold in as many pubs as I could visit. (Much before your time...see what I mean?)
