smiley - rofl Actually a very good friend of mine is from Belgrade. Indeed he is very successful (then again he probably would have had the same success in Belgrade). We now do the Moscow project together.
Datcha smiley - biggrin .. by the way: why wait till your dad builds a chimney? make a start with it! Surprise everyone, including your dad!
smiley - biggrin
I don't really have a datcha, I rent a flat in Moscow and I have my own house in Netherlands (in the east, little village near the German border) My datcha can be either of the two..

People from here is very diligent, but our situation is up-side-down and that is problem here.(always that famouse "our situation")smiley - smiley

I readly start with building of chimney, but i know nothing about build. Also i do not know in wich part of datcha they want to put chimney.I am very uninformsmiley - erm for somebody who want to be journalist.

Once i try to surprise my parents when i cut some bushes around datcha which they do not want to cut.(one more exemple how uninform i am)That bushes were between our lot and road and protect us from dust. When my parents come and see what i done they ask me nicely that i never try to surprise anymore.

Do you have some advice about build? If somebody give me advice,i can try to surprise them again.

smiley - rofl ah... smiley - erm... well.. maybe it would not really be a good idea to rush along and start on the chimney smiley - biggrin
Preparation and planning is always 90 % of the job. Never rush into a new job, a new activity. smiley - biggrin but on the chimney.. I suggest you make it high, open at the top and down below and in between. like a sort of tube.. and make it vertical! I'd really try and make it vertical. Leave experiments to jekyll & hyde types! a Vertical Chimney! Never believe interior decorator nuts in this! A chimney is high and it's going straight up.

I never rush.Who need rush anyway?smiley - biggrin

For start i can draw chimney and make calculation.Things like that demand some calculation.Never mind which type of calculation, but some type of calculation must be there for every case.

Yes!!!smiley - smileyVertical chimney is very practic and in combination with genius open on top make that smoke goes out.smiley - biggrin

There is calculation:chimney+open on top and down and below x vertical=smoke goes out.smiley - cheers

Now i just needs bricks, suny days and good will. smiley - smiley

smiley - biggrin I knew it would be very easy! and with your first law of chimnematics it should be a piece of cake really smiley - biggrin Now I'm not sure about the weather in Novi Sad but over here (Monday.. Moscow) it rains. And it is cold. I'd say with this weather you either have a chimney in operation or you have very cold feet. This is definitely the wrong time of the year to build a chimney. I suggest wait till next year?

Dusanka...I'll be back(once)

Rain is stop and Sun is shinning but I shall wait. There is allways next year.smiley - smileyI can improve my plans and find best bricks or think about some other material, and when spring comes just build itsmiley - biggrin. And make party smiley - disco for oppening of chimney with cutting red lace.

smiley - biggrin champagne! Don't forget the smiley - bubbly ! A good opening should go with champagne! Now the most important thing (but that is my opinion!) is to drink it, not to smash the bottle.
A datcha in winter can be just a bit .. well..

Russian friends of mine have a datcha which they -no heating- only use in full summer. In wintertime they leave a bottle of wodka on the table, glasses, and a note "dear burgler, please drink the wodka and do not damage any of our goods, thank you." Usually when they get back in spring a window is broken and the bottle is empty.

Yes champangesmiley - bubblyThankssmiley - okI almost to forget champange.I agree with your opinion about smashing bottle. It is to pity.We shall never make such sin.

Great idea!!!smiley - smiley And Wodka is good for warm up in winter time.smiley - biggrin

smiley - rofl ah right.. smiley - bubbly ! and wodka smiley - biggrin
However today I learnt that "real" Russians eat ice cream in winter. I noticed this last winter... minus "a lot" celsius and still people happily munching ice cream smiley - erm&smiley - brr!
Today I was told that ice cream indeed lowers the body temperature so that you'd stop feeling cold smiley - erm. I personally don't believe a word of it and I'd go for the wodka any time.

I heard for that equalizing internal and outer temperatures, but i do not do thatsmiley - smiley. Why to drink hot tea during the summer time if you could drink cold bearsmiley - ale?Or during the winter to eat cold ice cream when you could drink wodkasmiley - stiffdrink or winesmiley - redwine?

smiley - biggrin I think you're right... if the outside of you is freezing it is obviously no use trying to freeze the inside as well! your only hope is then to use anti-freeze and what is the main ingredient of anti-freeze? right! so here is a smiley - cheers to the use of smiley - stiffdrink in winter, smiley - redwine (hot! very good) and smiley - ale in summer.
Besides that smiley - ale contains lots of vitamins. Very important!

now for an smiley - oj.. too early for smiley - ale yet smiley - biggrin

smiley - bigeyes keep drinking smiley - oj! Fresh smiley - oj should have you up and running soon.
I read your page on Novi Sad! smiley - ok! very good! ("Not finished yet", I'll believe that.. a page like that will not be finished until it is a 500 page book smiley - biggrin). Maybe you can add a bit to the history section? The fortress bit (smiley - ok) tells about Roman fortresses, Kings, Turks, Habsburg, ... ah probably the history of Novi Sad (or Vojvodina) is a page on its own.. Ah well.. smiley - biggrin All I can say is more! More of this!

(* oh, I'm not a native English speaker... so I make a lot of errors writing English. I frequently use ms word and a spell checker to get the obvious typos out .. Maybe a hint? *)

Dusanka...I'll be back(once)

We were there 3 hours and we did not see half of fair.Maybe all day would be enough to look everything.Very exciting and but also very big throng. But never mind for throng when i found great book "Portrait from National Geography".Beside of that book i bought few books with text from satirical newspaper "Nasha Krmacha".That newspaper were very active against Milosevic.smiley - smiley

(I turn on sppeling grammar and check my text(I have texts in my PC)There is a lot of mistakesmiley - erm.I shall corect it.smiley - smiley)

hello

Post 38

Hapi - Hippo #5

smiley - biggrin this usually happens when you go to any sort of fair, exhibition, whatever... you go there, start "somewhere" and spend a lot of time with the first interesting thing in reach.. then after about two hours numbness hits brain and knees.. At that stage I usually start to wonder what the smiley - bleep I'm still doing there. After three hours it is smiley - run.
Don't worry about errors and typos in your text.. quite a few of us around here are not native English speakers... I'm sure we all make mistakes, more or less obvious ones smiley - biggrin who cares !

hello

Post 39

Dusanka...I'll be back(once)

Yes, but i always go again and again.I like to go on that places. That places is very interesting to me.And when all that throng "goes on my head" and i decide tosmiley - run i usualy promise to myself:"you do not go again".Offcourse i usauly go again.smiley - smiley

Book fairs are usually good fun, just like book shops. Right down at the first floor here is one of the larger bookshops of Moscow smiley - biggrin now I don't read much Russian but usually I go there once a week (they have a reasonable set of English books).
I found two latest Pratchett's Discworld books there smiley - biggrin
