Yep a hospital, and the fact their's only another 18 months to go before it closes then they have to find me another job, I can't see the point in leaving yet

I don't ever switch jobs, I just switch w*rking place.. Moscow, Denmark, Romania, with a bit of luck Jordan later this year

sorry.. I was out, had to repair a few minor issues electrickity-wise.
I w*rk for a consultancy company, and I usually w*rk abroad. (Russia, Romania, .. ) at the moment I am between projects. with a bit of luck I'll start in Jordan, or Denmark, or .. elsewhere

Is it intersting going to all these countries

absolutely. sometimes a bit nerve wrecking, tiring, maddening, but certainly interesting

Do you get to see much of the locality while you're there

depends.. I lived in Moscow for three years. And I've seen most sights worth seeing (and some that are not).
Usually on shorter trips (a week or less) you see the airport, the hotel, the taxi in between and the client company. full stop.
I spent all in all several weeks in Vienna, Madrid, ... and I wouldn't recognise any picture, tourist site, ...

So, work, eat, bar, bed then

and then it starts all over again.. yep..

sometimes the weekends are off though

Do you get to do the touristy bit?

not that often, no.. being tourist usually costs time

Do you see the bits you want to?

good question.. mmmmtricky.. I think I don't know.. well, in Moscow I think I saw most, although an organised tour of two weeks will probably show you more and other places than I visited.

I honestly don't know, most of the places I don't really know what to see, where to go, what to do.. I don't think I would ever be a good tourist

My Mum's planning a trip to Rome this year she wants to go to the Vatican and St Peter's Square, I'd like to see the Sistine Chapel and the Collosium

I've been to Rome .. for a week holidays definitely good! Sistine chapel, Forum, Colloseum, .. and climb up to the top of St Peter's cathedral, see it all

I never had a project in Rome

I'd like to see the Basillica too

yes.. impressive! and the good thing about Rome is that almost everything worth seeing is in a rather small area.. all within walking distance.
Weather is .. important. Mid summer is definitely the wrong time early autumn or mid spring is probably better..
