Dogs are very special indeed. They make life better. I don't understand those folks who don't like them.
Kitties are pretty nice, too. Have to give Minerva equal time.

Hyp, they're adorable, so cute I almost cried.
And, don't worry -- I have a friend who breeds Shelties, and his pups didn't look like Shelties for a couple of weeks after. I'll try to email you a pic for comparison (do you use aol anymore? sent you something a week or so ago).

Hypatia Posted Feb 5, 2010
I do still use aol. I got the puppy photos this morning but can't locate an e-mail from you last week. Bummer. I was without the Internet for a few days. Maybe it didn't get saved properly.
I can't resist puppies. I'm glad I just told everyone up front that I'm keeping both of them. In another 7 weeks, there is no way I'd part with them.
They have names. The bigger one is a female and is named Heather. The smaller one is a male and is Hamish. So they'd better look like Shelties.

Yeah. It would be terrible to give them Scottish names, and then have them turn out to be Chihuahuas.
Yo quiero Taco Haggis...

Oh, they're cute.
Did you see the Puppy Bowl last night? I don't even know who played the Superbowl - I was busy working - but we always have to see the Puppy Bowl on Animal Planet.
The blimp with the hamsters was a welcome new attraction...

Hypatia Posted Feb 8, 2010
I did not see the Puppy Bowl. I'll have to keep an eye out for it. Maybe they'll repeat it. It sounds like fun.
And I never watch the Super Bowl. Never watch professional football. I do follow Mizzou and Texas, so watch quite a few NCAA sports on the tube, including football. But truthfully, football is my least favorite team sport.
Yep, the pups are pretty adorable. Be prepared to be inundated with photos as they grow.

Baron Grim Posted Feb 8, 2010
Yea, they'll repeat the Puppy Bowl... next year. Don't expect to see it before then.
They've been doing it for several years now, so I doubt they'll stop anytime soon.

Hypatia Posted Feb 8, 2010
No reruns? Well, poo. I will have to remember it for next year.
Life...Don't tell me about life
Baron Grim Posted Feb 8, 2010
There's really not much to rerun... it's just a bunch of puppies playing on some astroturf.
Life...Don't tell me about life
Hypatia Posted Feb 8, 2010
Oh, ok. It still sounds like fun. Do they have it on for the length of the Super Bowl?
And...Westminster is next week. WooHoo!
