I wonder if moles act much like
prairie dogs? I saw a colony of prairie
dogs many years ago in South Dakota.
They were cute, but kinda

I've never seen a prairie dog.

They're jumbo gerbils, if you ask me.

I don't think there are many colonies
of them in Ohio.....

I'll have you know that I've been to once. Of course, I was in the middle of St. Paul, so didn't see any prairie dogs there either. I looked.

No, there aren't any prairie dogs in the lawn at the moment. It's dark right now in Ohio, so I can't be absolutely sure.

Apparently, prairie dogs can't live where the humidity is too high. They're prone to getting respiratory infections in those conditions. If they smoke, they get them too.

But that wasn't my main concern when I started
this thread. This was supposed to be one of those
rare fan clubs that even the guest of honor
doesn't know about. We are free to express our
appreciation for Lady Scott here, without
worrying whether Lady Scott wants to be appreciated.
