people that are physically incapable of using the verb shine properly. Unfortunately that seems to encompass half the western world, including media of all kinds. For some reason this seems to get on my nerves more than many other errors in spoken, as well as written, language. Am I just a freak then? Is it me? Should I start using the this oh so tricky word like everybody else? Is it in fashion? And nobody told me?Careful, your paranoia is showing This is a difficult time for me, and your help in concluding this matter would be greatly appreciated!

when work makes you go ewwww

Have you ever had that feeling when you woke up that something good was going to happen? Maybe you dreamt something nice which then spilled over into your day. And then when you realized that all you had to do was go to work, your day was ruined.
I am in fact sitting in the office where half the staff is on holiday and the other half is asleep. Me included...
