Going away
Posted May 23, 2005
Well as many of you have noticed I've become a less and less frequent sight on h2g2, and for the next few months that is likely to remain the same.
Firstly there is.... another website but that will be finished with in June.
After that we have the slightly less important factor that is my A level exams
Had the first one this morning (maths, P3. It went okay ) and now have a whole month before the next one!
So you all be good while I'm not here, though I'll probably still lurk around, and I'll see you at the end of June! (I can tell I'll be back by next week!)

What to wear?
Posted Apr 27, 2005
No your eyes do not decieve you. I, Skenvoy, am not sure what to wear. See we're coming up to my leaving boat party at school. And so most guys will be hiring Tuxedo's and leaving it at that.
A few years ago I (for some reason) said I'd go in crushed velvet when it was our boat party.
So... do I hire a tux, or do I hire a crushed velvet suit?
The vote is up to you people who I will trust with my dress sense!!
(Of course I need to find somewhere I can get a crushed velvet suit from if that wins!). Voting closes at the end of the week

Is h2g2 dieing on you?
Posted Apr 4, 2005
Feel like the number of posts you recieve each day is decreasing? Are many of your original h2g2 friends gone? then join IWOC A3859130 the society where you can sit and remember what things used to be like, whilst trying to do something about it!
And yes, I am one of those researchers

The final holiday
Posted Mar 25, 2005
Woah... this is it.
My last holiday before my A-levels. My last holiday before I leave school.
Well, unless you count study leave as a holiday
It seems strange to get here and realise I'm meant to be mature and stuff! I look at all my mates and compare them with the impression I got of the people in year 13 a few years ago... and we just don't seem anywhere near as mature. Then again I was seeing them from an outside perspecitve, whereas I see my mates from inside the year, which is probably a major factor... who knows!
Well my Uni choices have now been narrowed down to two options; York or Warwick. I've visited York and loved it there . Warwick I will be visiting on monday. After that all I need to do is get the grades for whichever uni I go for (AAB for Warwick, ABB for York). I'll let you all know what I think of Warwick in a few days.
In other news... there isn't much actually. Had a very busy end of term with coursework deadlines, concerts (including two in one day, one of which was in Oxford!). But term is over now so normal h2g2 visitation should resume... fingers crossed hey (either for me to return or not I don't mind )

Who is always right? Guys or Girls
Posted Mar 2, 2005
Yes the big one is here; whilst in a totally serious discussion on MSN () a mate of mine suggested she was always right as women are always right. I, being a self respecting male, said I am always right and that guys are always right as well.
So... it is time to cast your vote!!!
Current standings:
Is Skenvoy always right?
Yes: 4
No: 1
Join in the debate today, and make sure I'm always right!
If I win anyone who voted for me is also declared always right, thursdays will be replaced with thing every other week (to keep everyone happy) and general randomness will start (anything else you think I should declare right let me know!)
hmmm... wonder how much damage posting this on ask h2g2 would cause...
