..... Since *William* has infultrated our conversation , I thought I'd come and talk to you here...hope you don't mind
Anyway, about what to write...just write about yourself - I did!!!!! You probably saw. Managed a whole page on it too, which is amazing!!!!!
Hi there.....
Super Shiny Sarah Posted Jul 10, 2002
'Course I don't mind. It's not good for him to watch us talking about him anyway. Although I'm sure he'll turn up here sooner or later.
I'm trying to improve my introduction but I can't get the tags to work properly, I'm just going to have to try harder I think
Either that or read the instructions.
Hi there.....
Researcher 159112 Posted Jul 14, 2002
Very nice! But as I am slightly hungover, they're doing my head in
You're older than me! that's slightly obvious if you're in my year, but I do tend to forget... errrrr, I'll stop rambling now
That also sounds a little rude, doesn't it. It's not meant to be... I really had better stop talking now...
Hi there.....
Super Shiny Sarah Posted Jul 15, 2002
Don't worry, in most people's opinions I'm 17 going on 60 anyway. It doesn't make a lot of difference. And you don't sound at all rude
I can understand how the fish might do your head in if you were hung over... to tell the truth they're starting to annoy me a bit as well now and I haven't had a proper in *ages*.
So how are you? School out for summer?
Hi there.....
Researcher 159112 Posted Jul 15, 2002
Oh yes, but only just - it was speech day on saturday - and I go ta prize!!!!!!!! Ok, just a prize, but it was exciting cos I haven't had one for 10 years!!!!!
But still people insist on chasing me about Universities and things - I had something from UCAS this morning and I'm supposed to be drafting my personal statement..... And I had to have my choral scholarship form in by the end of term, but will they send it? Oh no, they're going to wait until the end of August just to make me panic - it has to be in by 1st September. It makes me wonder if applying to Oxford is worth it!!!!!!!
Anyway... moving on... Make Will take you out for a !!! But make sure he sobers you up before he takes you home!!! I arrived home on saturday slightly tipsy... my parents were *not* impressed!!! too much vodka I believe, and I only asked for a single!!!
Hi there.....
Super Shiny Sarah Posted Jul 15, 2002
Congratulations!
I've got four more days of school, well sort of anyway but it only turns out as one in the end 'cos I'm going to my mother's graduation tomorrow, school's closed for the UNISON strike thingy Wednesday and I'm going to see Greenday in the park on Friday. So I'm nearly free!
Don't mention unversity, the whole idea just terrifies me
And Will, take me ing? I'd probably end up carrying him home (but don't tell him I said that)
I like vodka, too (see, we have more in common than him!), and Archer's!!!!!!!!!!! With apple juice
Hi there.....
Researcher 159112 Posted Jul 15, 2002
awww, ! It terrifies me too!!!
mmm....vodka!!! How about bacardi? I always end up drinking bacardi breezers...
Hi there.....
Super Shiny Sarah Posted Jul 15, 2002
Yeah, the pineapple ones are alright. Not keen on the lime though! Although normally I quite like limes, it's strange.
Proper Russian (well, Estonian, but near enough) vodka this time last year... mmmm!
Hi there.....
Super Shiny Sarah Posted Jul 17, 2002
Orange are ok, too. Ever tried watermelon? My mother's just bought me a box but I'm not sure I like them!!
Hi there.....
Researcher 159112 Posted Jul 26, 2002
I like real watermelons... I'll try one. My dad refused to buy me any cos he said they were rubbish!!!
I just spent a week at Eton - no spirits!!!!! Had to drink lager. Anyway, moving away from the whole drinking aspect of life... how are you?
Hi there.....
Super Shiny Sarah Posted Jul 27, 2002
That's exactly what my dad said! If he knew I drank vodka he'd go crackers.
I'm very well thankyou, also just come back from a week away, where it rained quite a bit. It's raining now I'm home, too. Some things never change.
Have you got any more plans for the summer? I'm pretty much stuck here now, my mum's just got a job so I'm going to be babysitting for the next six weeks. Hurrah.
Hi there.....
Researcher 159112 Posted Aug 4, 2002
I've just been away for *another* week on *another* music course, which was great fun. It was my 7th year on that particular one!!! I met loadsa new people + loadsa old people.
I'm going to France at some point...I wish my family would tell me when!!! But that's about it...
Hi there.....
Super Shiny Sarah Posted Aug 10, 2002
I've just got back from Grandma's. And they wonder why nobody uses trains - on the way there I missed my connection by 3 minutes and was stranded for an hour, and on the way back the train was 40 minutes late and then we were delayed by children playing on the tracks!!!!!!! Honestly!!!!!!!!!
But at least I'm home now, quietly drinking Archer's and checking my neglected email, and I'm not going anywhere else.
So you're off to France? Which part? Do you speak French?
Hi there.....
Researcher 159112 Posted Aug 11, 2002
awww I almost missed a connection to Oxford...if that helps???
I'm off to Avignon on saturday I think... I *should* be able to speak french - I'm going to do it for Alevel!!!
Hi there.....
Super Shiny Sarah Posted Aug 12, 2002
Avignon? Great! I've never been there but I hear it's gorgeous. I'm doing French A Level too, don't you just love it? Out of my class of 9 I think I'm the only one who actually enjoys it Are you doing any other languages?
Looking forward to results on Thursday? I'm not
Hi there.....
Researcher 159112 Posted Aug 13, 2002
I love french, I'm just not too good at it... should be ok now we're doing literature and not pollution!!! I did german GCSE... does that count? I know Latin doesn't really, but it's still the best subject *ever* although there are several people who try to persuade me otherwise...
Hi there.....
Super Shiny Sarah Posted Aug 13, 2002
God I'd have loved to do Latin. And Greek and German and Italian and any other language you care to mention... I even did Welsh GSCE!
I agree completely, literature is a lot more appetising than pollution, travel &c. What books are you doing? We're doing L'Etranger and Les Mains Sales I think, at least we will be if I have any say at all in it
