Attack of the 5 ft 10"ex
Posted Jan 28, 2003
By the look of it, my ex is trying to get back with me, or at least to get me in the sack. He txt'd me yesterday asking for my MSN Messenger username "so we can chat a little every now and again."
No advice needed this time, I know what to do - what I mean to say by this entry is THAT I'M ABSOLUTELY ING OVERJOYED THAT SOMEBODY OTHER THAN ME IS DOING THE CRAWLING FOR ONCE!
Needless to say, he's not going anywhere with me anytime soon (or ever).
Bloke I snogged the other night and I are doing a Chandler Bing on each other, apparently Might txt him, might not. Haven't made up my mind yet.

Universal babe magnet

Once in a while there comes a Saturday night to remember. Last night was incredible. I went to a great gig (deep basslines galore, ooooh!), then tried to interview the band and was snubbed by the management girls (who refused to authorise the interview; I'm just not famous enough. I will exact revenge soon), ended up chatting and drinking with the band's dj, right under the management's nose. Take that, you snooty b*tch.
Then, later.
Went to a club to catch up with my one famous mate, Enrico, and his pals. Bumped into my ex from last May. We started talking and after a while it was clear that bygones were bygones and we could be friends again. I think a part of him is still in love with me, so imagine his face when I left with a guy he knew.
Yes, I pulled too I don't know whether we will hear from each other again. I've got his number and he's got my e-mail, but I suspect it might be a Chandler Bing "Let's do it again sometime!" scenario. Not that I would be terribly bothered.
I mean, "done, done and I'm on to the next one". I may ring him, I may not. Depends.
tee-hee

Field day
Posted Jan 23, 2003
As in the heading, I'm having a field day. I promise to catch up on all my backlogs as soon as I can. Off to the gym now, then out for a drink with a friend I haven't seen in quite some time.
Just a tiny note: I love this place.
Love you all, and love field days
G.

(Insert expletive here)
I was trying to ring my friend Manuela on her mobile phone. I had selected the name and everything.
For some unexplained reason, I ended up ringing my estranged friend Mr B.
Ah, for (expletive)'s sake!
His mobile phone was off, but he'll know I rang anyway. And he's guaranteed to ring back. I don't want to talk to him right now, I'm perfectly fine without, in fact I'm better; besides, what would I say? To top it off, if I don't answer my mobile (I've put it on mute, so I won't have a fit when I hear it; anyone else, I can ring back), he's got my home number.
Can't wait to leave for the weekend, so I won't be home.
I know this is very 15-year-old and everything, and I also know that if he doesn't ring back I'll be disappointed, in a way. (Come to think of it, my 15-year-old friends are a lot smarter than me when it comes to guys.) But I think it goes to show how bad I got it. I haven't spoken to the guy in two months but I still get jittery when it comes to him.
I can't go back, I'm not ready.

New Rock Revolution
Posted Jan 12, 2003
I have to admit I'm rather enjoying this whole New Rock Revolution thing. OK, OK, so I know it's by and large an NME* fabrication, but it's true that rock'n'roll hadn't sounded (and looked) so good in ages.
Most of the bands are easy on the eyes, too: Dear Santa Claus, if I could only have a boyfriend that looked like the drummer from Black Rebel Motorcycle Club, I'd be eternally grateful, thank you in advance for you kindness.
Going to my favourite club has never been so enjoyable. Anything that's wrong with me, I can dance it off. Just play The Strokes once more, Mr DJ (or The Vines, or any "The", take your pick, there are so many now...)
Whoo-hoo!
*For the non-British: New Musical Express, music weekly which I used to buy and read religiously in my twenties, and I only get occasionally now.
