I always thought "Electro-donkey" would be a good name for a band. If it has to be "The" something then how about "The Cables". Another band I was in years ago (which never made it) was called "The Jackets". That would be a really trendy name now, unlike in 1995 .

Enough with The-something band names! They'll be unfashionable within six months.
The Strokes should finish their new album, but I don't think they'll ever get around to it. Fabrizio Moretti is marrying Drew Barrymore, now how stupid is that? He's too young to know what he's doing, and she has a matrimonial record that's worse than Jennifer Lopez's... next thing you know, poor Fab is going to be heartbroken and stranded somewhere, and The Strokes will have to get a new (and considerably not as good-looking) drummer.
They should pinch Nick Jago off BRMC, so they wouldn't ruin the prettiness scheme

Yummy bass player? Actually, the youngest guitarist is quite yummy, but as far as I can remember the bass player isn't all that good-looking (Sorry, Nikolaj...)
Nick Valensi and Julian Casablancas, on the other hand, are quite cute And yes, the whole thing does sound like a soap opera...
