As in Westcliff-on-sea near Saarfend?
I was bought up in Rayleigh, in fact I went to a school reunion only a few weeks ago at Fitzwimarc. Small world!!

Good old Fitzwimarc, I went to school in Fyfield then ended up at SEEVIC so I know a few people who went to Fitz and various other schools in the area.

I went to see a band called Limehouse Lizzy a few years back and ended up chatting with the two guitarists after the gig. One of them said to me "That's not a local accent" (we were in the Midlands at the time) I said I came from South East Essex. Eventually we got to the point where we realised we'd both lived in Rayleigh, in fact, he'd taught a guy who was in my Scout Troop how to play Dancing In The Moonlight!
