I've heard lots of good about Austin. Apart from being the home town of Bill Hicks, and where Richard Linklater shot Slacker, it's where they host the SXSW festival isn't it?

Yes, Chris, the SXSW festival is held in Austin. I've never been but know people who have. I suppose every festival has different high and low points for different people, but overall it sounds like an interesting experience.
I wasn't able to continue this game over the weekend because I was far too busy building an ark.
So maybe I'll start a new song title game later this week or early next week. Any suggestions for themes?

OK, I'm in! Bearing in mind it's 5am and I haven't finished my coffee yet, I'll probably start off with just a few and think of more as the day passes... we're sticking to real, well-known/ famous folks, right? Not just random names?
Replacements- Alex Chilton
Jazz Butcher- Caroline Wheeler's Birthday Present

Sure, just famous real people. I could have gone for Frank Black's "The Last Stand Of Shazeb Andleeb" but since he's only famous for being kicked to death at school in 1995, and not even famous enough for Wiki, thought better of it.
I was going to trawl through the Half Man Half Biscuit discography but since it's mostly a slew of British sportsmen/commentators from the 70's & 80's, I'll just stick with Dickie Davis Eyes.
And so, inevitably -
Kim Carnes - Bette Davis Eyes
Bananarama - Robert De Niro's Waiting
Donna Summer - Dinner With Gershwin
Dexy's Midnight Runners - Geno (Washington)
Van Morrison (& Dexy's) - Jackie Wilson Said
