the paper is on art & culture, so I can insert plenty of adjectives! but the remaining (now 250 words) just about make me want to cry.
I am tempted to leave it a little short as the captions on the images don't count, but i feel they should.
I'd written about 1900 words yesterday and then DT took his big knife to it and told me to work on it some more. Friday will be here months before I can finish this, methinks.

Woohoo I done it!
I don't like it very much, but it is done and printed and bibliographed and it's 13 blooming pages!
Now for the next task, also due tomorrow. Note that it is gone 2300 local time!

I've only just arrived at inking the comic that's meant to be up tomorrow morning, too

and yet here we both are, online at the same time, i.e. in the middle of the night!
My excuse is that I'm Done, with a capital Dee...am so pleased with myself I'd border on smug if it wasn't for the state of the house after my marathon workshop days this week

I like a clean, tidy house, to begin with, but when I'm avoiding doing something else, I come up with some bizarre cleaning projects.
Other times, I'm lazy as hell and don't wash floors or vacuum the upholstery, or dust various shelves and knick-knacks, for weeks. Mostly because I have to move too much stuff to get to it...

Thanks
Unfortunately the smug didn't last long at all
I had a tutorial where the teacher didn't get any of my ideas and thought they were vague and rubbish and quite upset me, which was then compounded by the main teacher receiving my hard work (A1 portfolio, v fragile model, 2 full to bursting A4 sketchbooks and a 13 page paper) with the phrase 'Leave it there, I'll look at it next week'.
Teacher number 1 made me wonder why I wanted to study product design next year, teacher number 2 just made me reflect on how much of a No 2 he is!
It's the last stage though and and and! MRI Monday. So come Monday night I can start worrying about when I'll get the results

See, you strike me as a little bit of an overachiever, something I associate with USAnians with 5 year plans, really early mornings and a bit of a control fetish. I'd never imagine that you 'truly' are lazy - I think you tell yourself you are, but aren't really, kind of like those girls who tell people how fat they are when really they're a size 4 so that the people they tell it to will disagree with them. But in a nicer way of course.

Would suggest a new topic: song titles or bands in a language foreign to themselves...
Voulez Vouz - Abba... sort of thing?

Oooh, that's a good one! I'd love to start that (and will).
Me, overachiever? Compared to a lot of my USAnian counterparts I'm a bit lackadaisical. But I also know I'm a bit of a frustrated Type A perfectionist type, and a lot of my "laziness" comes down to "it won't be good enough, so why bother?".

And now for our new topic...
K's band Tuffy UK has a song called "ComepleaƱos" which is sung entirely in Spanish. And Lene Lovich does a cover of "I Think We're Alone Now" in Japanese, which I assume was not her native tongue.
I'm going to look through the music collection- back shortly (0r longly, depending on how much the cat pesters me...)

Proletariat...Working Class...
Well I guess 'Prole Art Threat' is an obvious one.
And now I'm trying desperately to remember the name of the Tackhead single, under the name of 'The Enemy Within' that sampled Arthur Scargill. You were meant to play it every evening at 6pm to cause a surge in electricity demand which would trigger power cuts, and hence the demise of Thatcher. I certainly did.
Here you go:

Doesn't seem to have a name.
