Cals Journal Yes there is a god!!
Posted Mar 26, 2007
Well I got up this morning, well thats a lie I dragged my carcus out of bed this morning suffering from the good old, missing an hour syndrome as our clocks went forward an hour on Sunday morning wondering how I was going to drag myself to work and contemplating calling in a sicky.
Anyhoo dragged myself into work and Lo! God Appeared! wow in the form of a broken central heating system, so everyone got sent home again *dances*
WHOOP! and now I'm listening to ABC on the Radio, drinking a lovely brew, the world could only be more perfect if Salma Hayek was here doing my hoovering laugh
P.S I was so excited about this, instead of posting it as a journal I posted as a conversation to myself by mistake

Cal's Journal: Scott and Grommitt
Posted Mar 21, 2007
Well I took Scott to get his ears tested again today
He is still boarder line and he still has fluid in his ears. Because his has recently had a cold they think this might be causing the fluid and the lack of being able to hear low level frequency. Low level frequency is important to hear as its one of the frequencies used in speech.
Now the doc doesn't know if this fluid is just sitting in his ears as he had the same problem last time they tested him. So she wants him to go see an ear nose and throat specialist in case he needs to have gromits fitted.
Well I was so upset, (even though he will more than likely not need to have this done) you'd have thought she'd just told me Scott was going to have to have open heart surgery the way I carried on. But he's just so little and it was the thought of him being put to sleep and being cut.
I pray to god he never gets really sick if this is the way I react to quite a minor procedure.

Cal and his hyper mobile joints,
Posted Mar 2, 2007
Yes I'm Mr Bendy
ok went to see the physio today, to be diagnosed really as the doc claims thats the job of the physio.
He did excatly the same tests as the doc did and went "yep your hyper mobile so what do you want me to do?"
DER!!!!!! Stop the ing pain might be nice!!!!!!
Any hoo a lot of my back and knee problems stem from the way I stand. I lock my knees right out, this in turn causes my spine to curve and my calf's to be over developed as the are taking the entire weight of my body more all less.
He was very doubtful about being able to change this stance as this is the way I have stood all my life and after 30 years it is a long slog trying to retrain my brain to stand properly with my knees slightly bent, if feels weird as well to me, like I'm going to fall forwards.
I have to do some exercises on my knee to try and strengthen the ligaments there as they are allowing the joint to move in such a way that it shouldn't, if that makes sense which is causing the joint pain.
His parting words to me were that the syndrome was incurable and that it would steadily get worse I as get older. Oh what joys to look forward to in old age, more pain and maybe dislocated joints *sighs* That is something I'd rather he had kept to himself .
oh and apparently its not my shoulder that hurts its my neck, even thought the pain is in my shoulder
Meh!
