Whoo Hoo!!!!!
Lady Scott Posted May 8, 2005
I wouldn't mind having temperatures between 70 and 80 F all year round.
But you can keep the humidity, please!
Whoo Hoo!!!!!
Evangeline Posted May 8, 2005
You'd have to put up with warm sunny weather, people insisting on feeding you, festivals every weekend, and lots of live music.

Oh, and you'd have to suffer through Mardi Gras and all those king cakes.

It's warm here today (68 right now), and it's beautiful out there - not a cloud in the beautiful blue sky! The humidity isn't even uncomfortably high, even though my hair is
But...
(there's always a "but", have you noticed?)
The pollen. That's another problem altogether.
*cough**cough**sneeze*

Did you get hit on the head by some beads?

82 degrees and very sunny at the moment...
I was in one of those big parades...
It was a five mile parade, which is more like marching seven or eight miles, with all the marching in place.
There were some fools on the float in front of us who kept throwing cups and stuff at our band(while the band was playing and could not possibly catch or duck). And yes, I got hit as much as the others.
Then, to add insult to injury, our band was between the horses and the street cleaners. Do you really want to know where that is going?

Cal, considering the link says "So please tell your friend that no one has to do anything they don't want to do -- and they can be arrested on the parade route" I doubt it was *that* amusing. Especially since there are no pictures.
T.B., yes the French Quarter.
