The Eye
:)Welcome poor Traveler to the eye of the nocturnal storm, TempestMidnight. You have strayed far from your homeland to be caught so adrift at sea. Allow me to administer to your needs before you move onward yet again 
.
I am what you might call a storm-nymph (You might recognize me by my dark ocean-blue hair or silvery storm-grey eyes), though I assure you that at one time I was human. Currently, however, I am the physical form of this tulmoltous darkness, thus you may call me Tempest, though I have had many other names in my life. I once wandered here just as you, on a quest for adventure and knowledge. However, the TempestMidnight never released me and thus I am doomed to stay captive in her eye for the rest of my life 
, except for the occasional decades when she gets tired of me and tosses me out.
Over the timeless decades I have fallen deeply in love the written word, for usually it is my only link to the outer world. Poetry, history, science, it all fascinates me completely. If you have any stories to share, I would like to hear them. That is all I ask for repayment. It has been such a long time since I've heard something new.
But enough about myself. Please, sit, allow me to get you a warm mug of tea
