Ooh manda, did the server crash affect Jim's new software patch which is supposed to stop duplicate postings? Those last 2 posts of yours looked very alike to me. I couldn't spot any differences the first time of checking anyway.

SEF, while you are here, would you mind having a look HERE
http://www.manda1111.pwp.blueyonder.co.uk/
I started a new web sit last night and I just wondered if there is as many pop ups on there as there was on my last one.
I would look my self, but I use Opera (no pop ups)
and every time I open IE something breaks, so I don't open it if I can help it

I'm not seeing any popups in IE, but I do have some degree of popup/advert suppression turned on. I don't think the front page quite works with the garish full-size TABLE borders leaving a gap round the central coloured photo holding TABLE. The gap would depend on screen width. PS Marv and the drink do make you two look rather small.

Thanks SEF
I have taken the Tables off, it was just something I was trying
I like to know what other people think of it as I am not the best at it yet

at 5'4" every one and everything makes us look small

Hi Angel
I have not had any major problemes up to yet, ( I normaly have by now )
I hope you are doing well
Intern
PCs can be a bit scary at first if you are not used to them, but you will soon get the hang of it
(And then you can sort some of my problems out )

I've already had problems. My PC initially refused to boot up this morning (got stuck twice in the BIOS). At the end of last year my monitor was blinking on and off (it was a year old replacement for the previous one which died just within one year).
I have a fairly bad effect on hardware just by existing in its vicinity or by asking for it to be delivered - unless the quantum equations governing the state of hardware only resolve themselves when the box is opened in my custody.

Thanks Chell and Intern I am keeping fine.
Manda, SEF, Chell and Intern I have had lots of problems yesterday and today about getting on-line. When I did get on-line, I kept on going to brunei skin. Manda I tried to get to your page and mine.

Hi Manda and SEF I hope you are both keeping well and had a good New Years day. I hope your PC's are now.

Hi Kat. I'm not too good at keeping well myself but I do intend to take action if my computer dies again. Perhaps it doesn't like new years.
I like your typo by the way. A brunei skin might be interesting: sandy background, red and white zig-zag border, shocked camels for yikes buttons (or something more scary)...

SEF Posted Jan 2, 2004
There are all sorts of skin possibilities. A Doctor Who one would have to have a space/time-warp background, a TARDIS for help and daleks for yikes buttons with different planetscapes for the various page types. What about a StarGate one...

manda1111 Posted Jan 2, 2004
How about a COLUMBO skin, His dog for the yikes buttons, A Magnifying glass for the search, His car for the My space button (Not that it will always get you there )
and talking about COLUMBO, He is just starting on Granada Plus

SEF and Manda a Doctor Who, Stargate, Columbo skin possibilities sound very . I like it when Columbo takes his dog with him to work.
I wrote a piece for my creative writing course about pc's and servers that repair themselves. They were so advanced you get your dinner from them.
SEF I hope> you will get better very soon.

cut and paste etc (Like a lot of things) is dead easy once you have have been shown.
Instant messages are good for that, you can talk to someone in real time (And see them with a wab cam)
and as we seem to be on at the same time most morning I will help you there
I am of to w**k now, speak later
