August Sixth

I was going to get a live journal to write in so this site wouldn't be cluttered with my useless prattle, but it seems that I need either to pay a fee in Paypal or get an access code from somebody who already had an account on Live Journal's website. It's too much trouble for me (since the only person I know who has an account is currently out of touch for a while), so it appears that I am a bit out of luck. It all seems too complicated to me.

August Fourth

Back from band camp, yay! Six blisters on my feet (three a piece). They are in better condition than last year, I must say.
We had a party Thursday night. I didn't cry throughout the entire senior/freshman meeting that is really depressing and sad. I really did not. Until Kelley spilled hot wax from her candle on to my hand. And when I got back, I started crying, too. But the wax thing was what started it all. Yeah. I will blame it on that. Hot wax hurts, kids.

Saturday, July Twenty-Seventh, Two-Thousand-Two

Here's the deal. Tomorrow, I leave for band camp. I expect to obtain an amusing quantity of physical tramas from the experience. I hope that this year my feet do not severely blister (again). But being that we had practice all last week (the twenty-second through the twenty-sixth) and go to camp on Sunday (the twenty-eighth), one would believe that we would have a free day on Saturday (today!), correct? Instead, we had Tag Day, a gilded term for begging for money. We go between nine A.M. and eleven-thirty to people's doors and awake them to ask for donations. It works, but it's not the most enjoyable fund-raiser in existence, believe me.

July Twentieth, Two-Thousand-Two

Hey look. I exist. Amazing.
I was a councilor at a summer camp this past week. It was volunteer work, so they did not pay me (too bad. I took my payment in crafts and food). Anyway, that was fun. And that's about all I have to say about that.
My friend is back from Michigan. And my other friend is back from summer camp on Saturdays. Thus, victory dance.
Well, I am sure that sounds vastly exciting to all of you. Yipee.

July Fourth, Two-Thousand-Two

I've come to the conclusion that no one reads my posts besides the moderator. Poor moderator. I'm sure that s/he doesn't care about what I have to say! (I know that half of the time, I don't even care of what I've to say). Anyway, it's hot today. You can be happy to know that my nervous system is correctly transporting the sensory data from my epidermus to my brain. Either that, or you don't care. If I was bored enough, I would create a poll and let everyone vote, but only the moderator and I would see it, and I know neither of us care.
Anyway, I am currently not doing my summer English project, which is due on the seventeenth. I spent six hours reading last night, and it didn't apply to that. Yay! So now, I'm just going to blame everything on my friend who recommended the book to me. It's all your fault, Alex.
