When I gave up smoking it was with the aid of a support group, so it is a very good idea to have one.

7 cigs yesterday 
I'm finding my lazyness is helping! Cos it's not an automatic response(we develop sort of auto pilot progss,like for breathing after smoking a long time) anymore I have to think about whether I want one or not and half the time I can't be arsed to find the packet/go buy some

The terminology you used wasn't a 'support' group it was an anti smoking group, there is a very big difference there.
A support group is a wonderful idea! I'm sure you'd get lots of interest! 
and of course I would join you soon enough!
I was talking about you last night saying how brilliant you were doing to have cut down as much as you have already!

yeah because i was meaning for people who've already quit or are otherwise anti the habit as well. was really hurt to think i could be taken that way by anyone who knew me..

Then to be blunt you probably should have explained yourself better.
How many times have we had this same discussion? I am reading typed words, not listening to inflections in your voice. My comment was not intended to offend and probably should have been responded to with a cattle prod or something suitably sarcastic about me being smelly...
There really was no reason to be hurt. But I am sorry you felt that way.

Josh is 8 and therefore can't understand the concept of patience.
We can do this Serephina, Josh won't have to wait much longer
I'll try to think of a way of making josh understand what you are going through, probably involving the PS2.
