Warped Sense of Humour
Posted May 9, 2006
That's what someone at our Doctors surgery has. According to Mother they've installed one of these "Press 1 for...." answering systems, she wanted to speak to one of the receptionists so hung on, while she was on hold they played some music,
This is the twisted humour,
It was Mack the Knife

How do you deal with Telesales people?
Posted Apr 10, 2006
When I get a call from someone trying to persuede me to move my mobile phone tarrif to them, I tell them to hang on I'll just go and get the right person, the I put the handset up to the cd player and turn the volume up, not to ear bleeding volume but you can't listen to Guns and Roses quietly and leave it there until they go away. works perfectly

God Moves in Mysterious Ways
Posted Mar 9, 2006
Does he ever. I was listening to the local radio this afternoon when they interviewed a local priest about hospital closures, this priest happens to be a friend of me and my ex's that we've been trying to track down for several years. I emailed the station to see if they had a number for us to contact, not that I was expecting them to hand it over but they have passed my email on to him. I also Googled Fr Ray Lyons and found his parish church address and apparently he's a thorn in the bum of the local council as he's been interviewed in the Daily Echo several times about his causes.
As the title says He moves mysteriously
