God Moves in Mysterious Ways

Does he ever. I was listening to the local radio this afternoon when they interviewed a local priest about hospital closures, this priest happens to be a friend of me and my ex's that we've been trying to track down for several years. I emailed the station to see if they had a number for us to contact, not that I was expecting them to hand it over but they have passed my email on to him. I also Googled Fr Ray Lyons and found his parish church address and apparently he's a thorn in the bum of the local council as he's been interviewed in the Daily Echo several times about his causes.
As the title says He moves mysteriously

That's something that I've thought of asking any number of times.
I hope you find some satisfaction for what-ever your grievance with this padre, Lady Reef.

"a thorn in the bum of the local council"
It's amazing how such a short phrase can make me think I'd like the guy.

I like coincidences like this, especially when it reunites you with someone you've lost contact with and missed being in your life.
Hope you're able to re establish connections Reef and it's all to the good.
I've met a couple of feisty priests along the way that like to stick it to the establishment, they're the best sort. Non of that pious smiteymongering..which is always a good thing.

He used to be the area manager for Courage Brewery in our part of London.
After I heard him interviewed on the radio I googled for him, on the off chance of finding his parish, most of what I found was interviews with the Southern Daily Echo about various campagins he's been involved with

Thanks Mrs B, I think he enjoys living one day at a time and doing what he can while he can, I do know he had the Last Rites read to him twice and he's still here to tell the tale, I think that played a part in his decision to become a priest
