I like the Lamb and Mint ones!
That lager sounds disgusting. I must admit I like the odd pint of the Black Stuff, but I prefer cans to draught, which is unusual.
So has anyone here tasted Joseph Holt's Crystal or Diamond lagers?? Their mild is good, the bitter is ok, but the lager is awful...

Yes, one of those "great ad...crap product" ideas. Shaving foam, you say? I'd always assumed it was Fairy liquid or similar, but then I never actually tasted said product. Was it menthol-y, and did it reduce razor burn?

No it wasn't fairy liquid, that stuff makes big bubbles. This beer had a head with a bubble size just like shaving foam.
Menthol-y? That would have been an improvement...

We may be on to something here...
Down the pub?
Drinking shaving-foam beer?
Can't pull?
Never mind, you can have a shave instead!!!

Is it just me, or do crisp flavours usually taste chiefly of the last thing listed in the title - eg Brannigans Roast Ham & Pickle taste mainly of pickle, and so on. There are exceptions, but I think it's mainly true. No?

Just you, I think. In my experience, crisps rarely taste like any of the words in the flavour.

Viz., Salt and Vinegar - yes, ok, they taste good, but they don't taste anything like salt or vinegar...

I'll agree with that one, although they are similar to the Bovril ones I remember from when I was about 5...

Dang it I am out of Marmite and Peanut butter so no toast for me tomorrow...
BTW what do people think of the Poppadom bites?

Ferrettbadger. The Renegade Master Posted May 26, 2004
Well not together... but they are the only toppings I like on toast.
Allthough I suppose "Don't knock it till youve tried it" might have to give marmite and peanut butter a go when I get some !

I do swear opn this very thread that I will try Marmite and Peanutbutter on toast and report back how nice/vomit inducing it really is.

In a minute I'm going to have to explain the rules of Shotto again, aren't I?
