Norn Iron

Well, what can I say....

When I was going down town tonite to pick up the manual from work the atmosphere was electric. The town was full of Norn Iron supporters singing (and smiley - alesmiley - redwine) on their way to the match.

It took me back to 1982 when we travelled abroad for the first time to Spain for the World Cup in support of our best ever team. I said to the manual......."this is just like 1982 when we went abroad for the first time to Spain for the World Cup in support of our best ever team."smiley - yawn

"Naw" says the manual "its coz we have nothing to loose like, we're not Brazil - we're Norn Iron"smiley - ok

Well, when Healey scored it was just like when Gerry Armstrong scored against Spain in the 1982 World Cup quarter finals - I screamed then criedsmiley - wah.

Its been a great night...smiley - moonsmiley - flyhi
