This should be an excellent year for you, Caerwyn. I already looked it up for Galaxy Babe over here, as well as tigers and horsies and ox. O my! http://www.bbc.co.uk/dna/h2g2/alabaster/F52180?thread=142308&latest=1

*brings supply of genuine Chinese snacks*
Thousand year egg, anyone? Candied winter melon? Candied coconut? Or, most importantly, New Year (this is gungy sweet brown stuff, not cake in the Western sense )?
No alcohol for me; like too many Chinese people, I'm allergic...

Thousand year egg sounds... intreguing. What is it?
I'm an ox, and whatever the sterling qualities of this sign, I much prefer being a scorpian, I have to say

There are similarities between my western astrological sign, Cancer, and my chinese, wood sheep. I pick the best bits out of both
This year, I am doing my best not to fly off the handle and to think before I speak! Not an easy task and as yet no one seems to have noticed.
Those little cakes look interesting, are they the same as moon buns?

In ancient China if it moved , or even stayed still and didn't smell too bad they ate it.
I'm an ox by the way.
For occupants who really want to be animals, try Mr Ben's room.

It was probably illegal to have a sheep in Ancient China!

No the emperor wanted to keep a supply for when he got tired of his concubines!
Inability to digest cheese I've heard of but alcohol allergy? No one seemed to suffer from that in "Monkey" ( don't know about Tripitaka tho')
