Step right up, folks, don't be shy. I'm sure that almost everyone is welcome here.

SEF Posted Mar 31, 2004
That's a very confusing sentence construction. I think I asked Saturnine back in Dec 2002 if the friends thing was OK. So that probably means I should be putting my hand up. I can't remember the precise wording of the event well enough to compare with the convoluted wording of your question.

I don't need to. Saturnine lovees me more than anybody.
And I've taken to drinking Republic of Tea Vanilla Almond tea with milk and sugar in lieu of coffee in the morning this week.

My apologies. I suppose Sat should be doing this, but she must be shy
I know you're welcome, SEF. I know aka is as well. I must assume I am. That only leaves a few people here who are presumably offline right now and perhaps someone who put Saturnine on their *friends* list as a way to find out what she's up to all the time, but not as a friend.

Well Nyss of course you're included, who couldn't love you!
Iced soya chai tea for me. I'd drink it by the gallon if I could.

Nyss, get the cartons of the chai concentrate (sweetened), then mix it about one third tea with one third milk and one third ice. Blend and drink until you get brainfreeze. Yum.

I've tried Tazo's brand of that stuff. Pretty good. Speaking of Tazo, they have the gayest website and merketing theme ever. :P

Jerms - a Brief flicker and then gone again. Posted Apr 1, 2004
Well I didn't ask her permission, but I added her as a friend because I like what she has to say and want to hear it.
I'm spending most of my time lurking these days though.
Too many assignments for me right now...
And I don't drink tea; I'm a juice guy.

SEF Posted Apr 1, 2004
I don't drink tea either, despite supposedly being British/English and from a tea-drinking family. I drink water and what my friends describe as milk-free milk.

Luthiena Posted Apr 1, 2004
I added Sat as a friend, I didn't ask her but I did it because I wanted her on my friends list, not because I want to stalk her or something....plus if anyone says they don't want to be on my friends list, I will remove them

Ferrettbadger. The Renegade Master Posted Apr 1, 2004
I also didn't ask... in fact I didn't ask any of the people on my friends list. I just add people who I find interesting and thus want to subscribe to their journals.

clzoomer- a bit woobly Posted Apr 1, 2004
Perhaps I shouldn't have brought it up, after all it's not my thread. I am just still peeved about the whole sock puppet, stalker, trolling thing. I'm quite certain you're all welcome.
I'll just sit over here by the corner.

*pats cl on the head*
The difference between you lot and trolls, is that you lot actually *talked* to me, and engaged in friendly conversation before adding me. Trolls don't, scary people don't. They just add, and lurk. A nice "hello" wouldn't be too much trouble.

Researcher 178815 Posted Apr 1, 2004
I think the question could've been better phrased, although I'm sure the point of what cl was saying was clear, was it not? I thought so, anyway.
"How many of you have added Saturnine as a Friend, and are actually her friend?" perhaps?

Jerms - a Brief flicker and then gone again. Posted Apr 2, 2004
Well /I/ understood the point of the question.
It seemed fair enough to me, given the context.
And I'm sure we all here have similar feelings about trolls...
...and similar thoughts on what we'd like to do to them, if we caught them in person.
(hehe 'punt!')
(*ahem* That's the dropkick-y sound, not the canalboat!)
