Sea, that couldn't have been timed more precisely.
I went to a friend's house once and they only had *diet* Coke - I don't think it tastes that much different from regular Coke, except that it's a bit watery sometimes. Rather even /Diet/ Coke than Pepsi though.
But then, rather Dr Pepper than either.
But then, rather Fanta than anything.

Call me old fashioned but I think Tea takes the biscuit when it comes to drinking! http://www.bbc.co.uk/dna/h2g2/alabaster/F132648?thread=379428

Ah, now you see, with tea, I *like* poncey flavours. I actually have twenty different flavours of tea at home, just for variety's sake.
A Quick Heads Up.
Ferrettbadger. The Renegade Master Posted Mar 31, 2004
Well I like normal tea and Assam but that is about all I drink to be honest.
When I go to my grans I have a bit more variety! Lapsangsoushong? (spelling) is nice.
However I *hate* Earl Grey.

I tend to sup on Twinings Fruit and herb teas, or Tetley tea and maybe the odd Twinings English breakfast
*this party political broadcast on behalf of Twinings is now over*

Ferrettbadger. The Renegade Master Posted Mar 31, 2004
Actually I have some English Breakfast tea; of the brand you mention at home.... It is very nice!

I find lots of hotels put that breakfast tea in their rooms. It is good to wake one up in the morning.

egon Posted Mar 31, 2004
we're not supposed to ahve drinks of *any* kind in the library, which makes the vending machines in the foyer look like a bit of a foolish idea.

Ah - the poncey flavours - I actually don't mind the Fruit Twist (the red one, which was promptly stolen by Tango, a la Microsoft), or the Apple flavours, but the berry one is vile.
I suppose I should actually like Tea a bit more, being British and all that.
A Quick Heads Up.
egon Posted Mar 31, 2004
OOh, I triwed the apple one last week- did not like it at all. I'm quite partial to the yellow, and the fruit twist is quite ncie as well, I agree about that.

Researcher 178815 Posted Mar 31, 2004
Oh - I forgot about the lemon flavour. Icy Lemon. Funnily enough, those who've seen me drink the Apple flavour Fanta have asked me, very politely, why I'm drinking Raw Sewage.
Well, if that's what Raw Sewage tastes like, Dasini water (or whatever it's called) can't be /that/ bad!
A Quick Heads Up.
egon Posted Mar 31, 2004
That Dasani was actually quite ncie until it got recalled, you know.

Hands up those on this thread who were invited or asked if they could be included by asking if they could include Saturnine as a *friend*?
*Puts hand up.*

"by asking if they could include Saturnine as a *friend*?"
I need not, but, "I!"
*raises hand*
